Due to internal promotion, we have a Duty Manager position available in our Front Office team. We are looking for someone who will represent our friendly and professional 5 star service philosophy. This person will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills leading by example and a passion for exceptional levels of service. A proactive and solution focused attitude is a must!
Your daily work will include the following:
- Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests.
- Display host/hostess type qualities when taking ownership of the Hotel.
- Apply decisions to reach a win-win situation on behalf of the Resort and our guests.
- Have the necessary skills and training to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by guests.
- Take every opportunity to be a “salesperson” by active selling of special promotions and facilities available within the Resort.
- Treat customers and colleagues from all cultural groups with respect, sensitivity and transparency.
- Work together with trust so that colleagues and management meet the goals of the departments.
- Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our guests are positive and productive.
- Show efficiency in constantly striving to provide total guest satisfaction.
- Lead by example when attending to guest requests.
