We are seeking qualified and experienced Diesel Fitters to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The roles will be based in Mackay QLD.

Servicing a variety of clients and industries, we specialise in auto electrical, mechanical, fleet management systems, radio communications, networking, backhaul point to point systems and access control from small business to heavy industry.
Based in Mackay QLD, we are ideally situated to service the needs of our clients within the Mackay, Bowen Basin regions and beyond. Successful candidates will be joining an energetic and talented team with a progressive business culture.
The positions will involve:
• Performing maintenance, repairs, and reconditioning works on a diverse range of heavy equipment and machinery
• Ensure all necessary parts have been ordered, checked, and ready for job completion.
• Understand the initial estimated labour hours and advise the Company/customer if the job is to exceed the quotation.
• Research and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions, and specifications.
• Ensure assigned tasks are free of faulty workmanship assuring quality in the finished product.
• Carry out all repairs using the appropriate control guidelines to ensure that rework jobs do not occur.
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within required target times.
• Perform duties both on site and in workshop environments as required.
• Keep all work areas to a high contamination control standard.
• Follow all occupational health and safety practices set by NB Industries and customer sites.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of company apprentices when required.
Directly relevant and related technical knowledge, employment history and qualifications are required. Including at least 3 years consistent and recent employment history within various environments. Candidate possessing a current standard 11 and QLD Coal Board Medical will be highly regarded.
These positions will be full time, based on a minimum of 38 hours per week with a base salary starting at $79,040.
