As a Desktop Support Team Lead, you will be responsible leading a team of end user services engineers within the IT Outsourcing group to ensure best practice support methodology is practiced, technical experience leveraged and customer outcomes are delivered driving high levels of customer satisfaction. Working as a Desktop Support Engineer you will be responsible for the provision of all aspects of End User Services to Datacom’s customers. Aligned to our customers business requirements, we provide tailored maintenance services, hardware and software break/ fix support, remote support, software deployment and relocation services.

About the role

As a Desktop Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our internal users and resolving incoming queries and issues. You will be critical in managing any service requests related to computer systems, software or hardware.

Other key areas of responsibility will include:

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware;
• Manage and respond to service requests and incidents via the Service Desk tool either, in person, or over the phone. This may include but not limited too:
  • User onboarding and offboarding
  • Technical support
  • IT procurement
  • System and network builds and implementations

About You

You will also have:

• At least 3 years’ commercial IT experience;
• Knowledge of IT Workflow tools, including FreshService;
• Exposure to virtualization platforms;
• Knowledge of Windows 10 Desktop Troubleshooting and basic Mac;
• Knowledge/experience with G Suite Software, Active Directory;
• Experience with updating and managing technical documentation;
• Hardware knowledge;
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking;
• Microsoft products Knowledge (Office and Windows Server 2012 R2+);
• Strong attention to detail skills with a proven ability to develop high quality solutions to identified problems.

About The Role:

Maintenance Technical Manager

We are opening a new training centre in Sydney in 2024, as a part of this we are looking for an experienced manager to take on the position of Maintenance Technical Manager. Location

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced Learning Support Officers for two full time fixed term contract positions located at our Golden Grove and Elizabeth East campuses. Both roles will focus on support for secondary level students. The Learning Support Officers will work as an integral part of our Inclusive Education Department in a range of classroom and student support activities which contribute to the achievement of literacy and numeracy based outcomes of students in the school.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Work with classroom teachers to support the development of differentiated learning activities and assessments.
• Implement strategies and provide feedback to the Inclusive Education Coordinator and classroom teachers.
• Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as necessary.
• Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Attend and participate in relevant professional development to maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of learning support practices.

• Certificate III or higher in Education Support or similar.
• Experience working with students who have additional learning needs.
• A passion for inspiring students to learn.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Flexibility and an ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to work with a variety of IT software platforms.
• A commitment to the mission, vision, and core values of the College.

• Provide general and technical support to our customers, via phone, email and/or chat

• Identify and respond to technical challenges and troubleshoot accordingly

• Collect insight and feedback about our products from our customers, and report back to our product teams

About You

• 2+ years experience in a Senior Customer Service role
• Background in a technical helpdesk role is highly desirable
• Professional, courteous verbal and written communication

The position of Broadcast Technology Support Analyst is a full time, rotating shift role covering 7 days a week. The purpose of this role is to:

• Serve as the initial point of contact for internal customers, handling their inquiries via phone calls and ticketing systems.

About the Opportunity

As a beginner Tech Support, you’ll be part of a wider team that work directly with Datacom’s clients (often Government agencies) After comprehensive training your role will be to help solve technical issues as they arise over phone, email or an alert system, you’ll work in a timely and efficient manner, with the option to escalate for additional support where necessary.

Your training will include an introduction to ITIL. A globally used Service Management Framework that will help you identify, troubleshoot and resolve incidents.

The operational hours in Tech Support vary from Monday to Sunday (8.00am – 6.00pm) we also have afterhours roles which require availability Mon-Sun (6:00pm – 8:00am)
