About the role

As an Operations Support Officer, you are responsible to cover all aspects of customer service/freight solutions/administration component. You are also responsible to ensure enquiries that cannot be answered during the first call are investigated and resolved quickly and effectively.

What you’ll do

• Accurately and efficiently record all client information and record all investigations into appropriate computer systems.

• Day to Day housekeeping of inbound freight with further attention requirements 

• Ensure all customer enquiries are actioned and resolved to company and client satisfaction in a timely manner.

• Communicate with clients/contact centre regularly through the course of an enquiry via all platforms (salesforce, phone, email)

• Provide feedback to the Supervisor regarding consistent service failures by sub contactors or staff drivers.

• Assist in finding solutions to prevent recurrence of service failures.

• Support all Admin and FSOL team members in a backup capacity!

• Ensure enquiries are handled in a professional and prompt manner.

What you’ll bring

• Proficiency in data entry and time management.

• Computer literacy/knowledge of MS Office computer applications

• Excellent team player

• Ability to resolve conflict and negotiate solutions to problems quickly.

• Ability to handle freight – manual lifting of up to 16kgs.

• Previous experience in the transport industry is highly advantageous.

• Good communication skills both written and verbal and excellent telephone manner.

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking Expression of Interests from highly motivated Geospatial Data Support Officers what will join our team to provide technical support to users of Defence's Mission Planning System by acquiring, translating and storing the geospatial data so that end users have the appropriate information to successfully plan their missions. The candidates we are hoping to hear from need to be able to use common geospatial software to achieve this.

The Geospatial Data Support Officer would work as part of the Canberra-based Geospatial Team that would assist activities related to Mission Planning Systems supporting ADF aviation and intelligence customers. Candidates would have the opportunity to participate in precision GNSS survey collection activities to support the MQ-4C Triton.

All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 clearance. Only candidates holding an NV1 clearance should apply.

Responsibilities would include:

• Conducting data assurance and configuration management activities for MPS data, as required, to maintain system airworthiness.

• Develop and maintain mission planning data acquisition and distribution policy for MPS Program Office.

• Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects.

• Support others in the daily use of MPS by providing quality geospatial data.

• Conduct geospatial data manipulation and management to develop military specific data sets as required.

• Analyse geospatial data and develop custom reports as required.

• Monitor and analyse information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.).

• Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses.

• Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications to geospatial data sets.

• Conduct data backup and recovery planning.

• Review or generate work instructions to document specific and repeatable procedures to aid in redundancy, configuration control and accountability of geospatial products produced.

• Manage and maintain data storage repositories for ADF Aviation and Geospatial MPS data.

• Format and structure data to so it can be consumed by Mission Planning Software.

• Co-ordinate and distribute periodic data updates to users.

• Validate, convert, modify, combine, and export geospatial data in MPS compatible formats.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Minimum six years’ experience in the Spatial industry.

• An understanding of spatial data collection, storage, analysis, and translation methods.

• Experience in conducting quality analysis to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of spatial data.

• Experience in spatial data management and the appropriate storage mechanisms.

• Experience in the use or knowledge of various geospatial software applications, such as the ESRI Suite of Products, Global Mapper and FME.

• Experience in dealing with stakeholders at various levels to understand and collate the user’s spatial data requirements.

• Experience in precision GNSS field survey collection.

About the Role (your why) 

As Cybersecurity Technical Account Manager, you’ll manage and oversee our Government Customers vulnerability management program and tools.  

You will be working within a team of passionate, innovative and engaging people who focus on building, delivering and supporting state of the art Cyber Security Solutions and you will ensure that delivery of services to our internal and external stakeholders is upheld, achieving SLA’s, meeting commercial obligations and contractual compliance.  

You’ll be Canberra based and happy to be onsite with our customer approx. 2 days per week. We like to bring people together in person when we can, and we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best! 

Due to customer requirements, you will need to be an Australian Citizen with an NV1 Government Security Clearance (or with a current Baseline and the ability to achieve an NV1).  

What You’ll Do: 

You will play a crucial role in enhancing, managing, and maintaining our operational processes and procedures. Your core responsibilities will be to actively identify, assess, prioritize, and report on any security vulnerabilities found in our customers' systems and applications.  

You will collaborate with various technical delivery teams and engage with customer application and system owners to ensure the prompt and effective remediation of any vulnerabilities.  

Your will focus on ensuring the successful delivery of contracted services to our clients, in line with our master services agreements, managed service schedules, and other commercial agreements.  

In addition to these key duties, you will have the opportunity to shape and implement policies, as well as review standard operating procedures for our vulnerability management program.  

Mentoring junior analysts will also be an important aspect of your role, contributing to the professional development of our team.  

We are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs. 

What you’ll bring  

You’ll have previous experience: 

• Working for a government customer or in a highly regulated industry  
• Leading or managing a team of cyber security analysts  
• Defining and implementing policies and standard operating procedures for cyber security programs.  
• Experience monitoring the performance of operations team’s productivity and contractual compliance, i.e., SLA achievement, aged ticket management, change management, etc. 
• A customer centric approach, ensuring consistency in delivery of service.  
• An understanding of Cybersecurity in an Operational or Professional Services environment. 
• A background and knowledge of service delivery methodologies including ITIL and Project Management discipline would be advantageous.  

Along with the following: 

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 3 years of experience in vulnerability management 
• A security certification such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent  
• Strong knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and threats, such as the OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, etc 
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills  
• Proficient use of vulnerability scanning and assessment tools such as Qualys, Tenable, and Rapid 7  
• Be familiar with vulnerability management frameworks and best practices such as NIST, OWASP, CVSS, etc 
• The ability to work independently, and as part of a team; and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.  
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field

About the Role (your why)

Working as a Desktop Support Engineer you will be responsible for the provision of all aspects of End User Services to Datacom’s customers. Aligned to our customers business requirements, we provide tailored maintenance services, hardware and software break/ fix support, remote support, software deployment and relocation services.

• Initiate and drive service and process improvement
• Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (EG: Change/release)

• Providing guidance and leadership to junior analysts and acting as a point of escalation for complex issues.
