About the Job

As Risk Manager you will be reporting to Head of Risk, Strategic & Corporate Affairs Group, while working closely with the People & Culture business unit in a Line 1 Risk Management role to identify risk and improve the control environment, provide assurances that our internal and external operations are conducted in line with our risk appetite; identify opportunities for delivering improved service and providing subject matter expertise to the broader Rest business where required. You are committed to identifying potential risk & ensuring appropriate controls are put in place. You will be focusing on reducing risk exposure while improving the effectiveness of key processes and controls.

• The key responsibility is to assist with the day-to-day management and oversight of the P&C business and ensure relevant regulatory and compliance requirements are satisfied by implementing the Risk Management Framework.
• Ensuring a sound control environment is maintained as part of BAU and change business activities in support of the Super Simple Strategy.
• Input to design and testing of appropriate controls and standard operating procedures when needed including enhancement of existing risk monitoring.
• Undertake activities to ensure policies and procedures are appropriately embedded into business operations.
• Monitor risk and perform Control Self-Assessment, identifying any issues / controls gaps and address root cause by improving controls.
• Proactively manage open issues including audit issues and incidents ensuring that the business is on track with remediation and providing timely responses.
• Support end to end processing for all raised incidents, including root cause analysis, systems and reporting, and post review.
• Provide expertise to the P&C team activities in Risk Management and build knowledge in the team to enhance a positive risk culture.
• Preparation of risk materials and content for various risk forums at Rest.
• Preparation of risk content for ELT and RC meetings.

This role reports to the Director, Visa Consumer Marketing and Partnerships AUNZSP and will be a key member of the Visa Marketing Team. A passionate group with a high-performance culture responsible for our brand health and delivering best in class consumer, client and merchant marketing and B2B marketing to drive business growth across Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific (AuNZSP).

Supporting the Senior Director and Director Consumer Marketing and Partnerships, the Senior Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising programmatic and social B2C campaigns across that drive growth for our Visa brand. 

This role will support the expansion of our Media Advisory and Execution capability within our Marketing Services function through selling and executing engagements that help Visa’s clients (Issuers, Merchants, Acquirers, Fintechs) strengthen their business.  

What a Senior Media Manager does at Visa:

• End-to-end campaign management. Plan and implement client campaigns across demand-side platforms (DSPs) such as Google Display & Video 360, The Trade Desk, as well as Google ads that are aligned with client’s campaign brief and KPIs.
• Manage & optimise budgets, establish bidding strategies, and targeting tactics to achieve campaign objectives while maintaining efficiency. The specialist should also be able to recommend platforms for consideration, and set target bids.
• Ensure creative assets provided are compliant with platform guidelines and best practices.
• Vendor management and negotiation (ie SSPs, ad exchanges, data providers) for private exchanges (PMP) programmatic guaranteed (PG)
• Create insightful and actionable reports to increase the effectiveness of client campaigns
• Work closely with Media Agency to ensure successful tracking and delivery of holistic campaigns (with Agency trafficking team).
• Set up in-housing workflows and templates from scratch. Ie work with vendors to set up platforms, establish ad ops process and work logs, automate media plans, reports and establishing timelines
• Contributes to the development of marketing services proposals and the presentation of these to clients
• Contribute to client sell in proposals, presentations and media implementational responses. 
• Partners with the Director, Marketing BPO for the pipeline management, operating expenses and revenue associated with client marketing media projects.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. A bit about the role:

The role is based in our Sydney office, but you will also work closely with the Regional APAC and Global Wise Platform teams based in our offices around the world. You will work closely with other functions, including product management, compliance & legal, implementation and engineering. As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for independently sourcing and winning high impact deals with a focus on large banks and enterprises.

Your mission: 

• Work with the Wise Platform team to build, close and grow a strong pipeline of financial institutions and enterprises across our target verticals in ANZ, driving revenue and volume growth for Wise.

• Be the business counterpart for product teams to unlock new verticals and flows in ANZ through understanding painpoints, sizing opportunity and understanding regulatory / compliance nuances.  

• Work on projects and initiatives to improve our sales processes and approaches both within the APAC region and globally, such as helping iterate our pitches and messaging, our pricing strategies, go to market efforts - or anything else that helps drive growth.
