The Gig

Our Customer Success Managers serve as trusted partners to our practices, gaining a deep understanding of their business needs, operations, challenges, and goals. The role’s purpose is to help customers fully leverage our products, ensuring they unlock their full potential and achieve maximum return on investment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients to ensure their continued partnership with Healthengine.
• Proactively manage a portfolio of high-value clients, helping them unlock the full potential of our products and achieve maximum return on investment.
• Recognise opportunities to offer additional services that bring value to our clients and prepare tailored proposals.
• Regularly compile and share performance insights with customers, highlighting their success metrics.
• Identify any potential obstacles to customer retention and proactively resolve them.
• Collect valuable product feedback from customers and relay this to internal teams for ongoing improvement.
• Lead the negotiation and closure of renewal agreements with existing clients.
• Act as a liaison for customers with finance and billing matters, ensuring seamless processes.

About You

You are impact and results driven with an ability to drive continuous value to our products. You can talk with any customer level, including admin staff, managers and business owners. You will have an analytical ability to improve customer results through data and improvements. Your time management, organisational & problem solving skills will be key to your success in this role as this is a fast paced and ever changing environment. This role will also require you to be very proactive and demonstrate initiative as it is a very autonomous and results-driven role. You are intuitive, curious and a voracious learner, that will bring strong customer-facing skills. 

Experience required

• Strong experience in an Account Management role
• Experience in using multiple CRM and client management and reporting systems
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) & Google Suite.

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic account manager with a passion for marketing to join our tight-knit team in Sydney. This role sits at the heart of a small, agile squad with a start-up atmosphere, working closely together to deliver results for clients all over Asia Pacific. You'll help to deliver projects on budget and on time, collaborate with strategists, creatives and media specialists, and maintain exceptional day-to-day client relationships. Working closely with a director, you’ll develop an excellent understanding of your clients’ objectives, ensuring campaigns with a wow factor are delivered consistently to brief. 

What you will do

Client management  

• Regular communication to provide real-time updates on day-to-day activities. 
• Co-ordinating status meetings, providing reporting including updates on the work, timelines and budgets, highlighting any blockers or risks.  
• Participate in briefings, capturing client requirements and reporting needs. 
• Capture feedback, distribute and follow up on action points. 
• Supporting your account director, building your relationships with clients through responsiveness, clear communication and by managing expectations. 

Program management   

Working with your project team you will: 

• Liaise with team members to understand roles and responsibilities, processes, and delivery tasks.  
• Create supporting project plans and resource plans.  
• Work with our traffic manager to resource and schedule team members. 
• Write production briefs and facilitate kick off meetings.  
• Drive teams through the delivery of the work, coordinating schedules, organizing meetings and providing clear actions and deadlines.  
• Find solutions to resolve blockers or challenges to the successful delivery of the work.  
• Review and critically appraise work to ensure that it meets the brief and is ready to share with the client.  

Commercial management   

• Create project estimates, quotes and statements of work, with support from your director. 
• Responsible for managing project finance admin – such as raising purchase orders and invoices and updating and maintaining accurate forecast data. 
• Tracking and reporting on time, cost and overall budget spend and profitability of your projects.  
• Escalating commercial risks to your director.  

Marketing strategy   

• Take an interest in your client’s business, industry and the work, sharing relevant information across your team. 
• Understand programme/ campaign performance and liaise with your team to provide recommendations to optimize activity and/or improve the quality of outcomes.  
• Develop an understanding of the services TMP offers and how we add value to our clients.  

Business development 

• Identify opportunities for TMP to extend its scope of work within your existing projects and work with your Account Director on how to move these forward.

What you will need

• Previous marketing or agency experience. 
• Some understanding of different types of marketing campaigns. 
• Experience of managing some cross-discipline teams (for example - asset production, strategy, creative, technology, media) is helpful but not a must 
• Proficient with IT including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience of project management tools and processes.

About the Role

The Senior Business Development Manager will play a critical role in driving business growth for Ofload in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with major Australian freight customers, establishing strategic partnerships, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. They will report directly to the Head of Sales and work closely with the broader Commercial team, including Marketing, and Analytics to develop and execute effective business development strategies that align with Ofload's objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and target new business opportunities to expand Ofload's customer base in Australia.
• Develop and implement effective business development strategies, in line with company and team goals (OKRs), to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their freight requirements and providing tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with the broader Commercial team to develop compelling sales pitches, presentations, and proposals.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.
• Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients to secure new business partnerships.
• Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales pipelines, and progress towards targets and underlying goals (OKRs).
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in business development.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager
• Strong understanding of the Australian logistics - and specifically road freight - market, industry trends, and customer needs.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and analyse data to identify opportunities.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business tools.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
