RESPONSIBILITIES

• Steer the Sales Area profitability in co-operation with the Sales Area and Sales Unit management. Pro-actively initiate corrective actions based operative KPIs.
• Support local and global management; Sales Area, Business Line and Group management with relevant and accurate financial information and analyses in decision making.
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial and KPI reporting of Sales Area management reporting.
• Preparation of monthly and annual estimates and plans for Sales Area according to Normet’s global standards.
• Preparation of profitability reporting and related analysis on monthly basis.
• Preparation of ad hoc analyses.
• End-to-end management and statutory reporting responsibility for region’s legal companies.
• Preparation of Normet Australia legal company’s (Normet Asia Pacific Ltd)  statutory accounting and reporting according to local legislation
• Team leadership for country controllers. Ensure proper resources available to perform local accounting activities.
• Competence development of Finance organization in the region
• Participation in forming group level financial concepts, policies and development projects and driving the implementation of global initiatives locally.
• Co-operation with external auditors.
• Ensure appropriate corporate governance is in place; i.e. designing and deployment of policies and internal controls.
• Member of a Sales Area management team and global controller community.

COMPETENCES AND REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant working experience minimum 7-10 years in business controlling and accounting.
• Master’s degree (University) in a field of finance, accounting or business, for example.
• Understanding of IFRS reporting standards and difference from local GAAP
• Experience of providing hands on guidance for every day accounting topics and seeking external assistance in a case internal competence are limited.
• Real willingness and capability for hands on reporting and accounting with ERP, Excel and other reporting tools.
• ‘Can-Do’ attitude and confidence to perform even though some uncertainty exists regarding guidelines and direction. Due to Normet being in the middle of organizational transition, its financial policies, practices and processes still require substantial development.
• Capability to scale from detailed financial discussions (e.g. accounting topics) to strategic dialogue at every level of organization.
• Experience of leading teams.
• Proactive approach towards to collaboration with Sales Area.
• Experience of working for a multinational company and matrix organization; international experience is an advantage.
• Fluent English both written and spoken; other languages as a plus.

About the role

Konica Minolta Australia is transforming to provide a holistic range of IT services and we are currently seeking a passionate Marketing Communications Manager to join our team on a maternity leave cover basis. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role is key to managing marketing communications across the Konica Minolta brand, products and services to create awareness, build trust and lasting customer relationships.

• Create and manage annual marketing communications plan, including budgets and timelines.
• Implement marketing campaigns, programs and events to advance Konica Minolta’s brand identity and awareness of product portfolio with existing and new customers.
• Oversee Konica Minolta’s public relations strategy and programs, cultivate meaningful relationships with external audiences and serve as the point of contact for communications.
• Lead internal communications initiatives and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Create comprehensive and effective content strategy with high engagement rates.
• Manage inhouse creative resource and development of creative for campaigns, events and company initiatives. 
• Design and develop effective sales and marketing materials to create awareness and connect customers with the brand and portfolio.
• Manage annual events calendar and ensure successful execution of customer and industry events to promote Konica Minolta and garner interest with products and services.
• Coach, guide and lead the marketing communications team to ensure set objectives are met and develop their capabilities.

Who are we looking for?

• Demonstrated experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field in B2B environment.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications.
• Sound experience in content strategy, media buying, planning, briefing and agency management.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and budget management.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas.
