We are seeking a Digital & Publishing Sales Executive to join Australia’s largest media company which will invest in your future!

The position will work closely with the Group Business Manager on an assigned group of media agencies to develop commercial solutions for brands across the Nine Digital and Publishing assets – 9Now, Nine.com.au, The Australian Financial Review, The Age and
The Sydney Morning Herald.

What will you be doing day to day?
As the primary contact for media planners and buyers you’ll be responsible for delivering
exceptional customer service and achieving revenue targets across your agencies/clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Have a clear understanding of Nine’s digital and publishing assets - leveraging the scale of the ecosystem across video, data, display and content
• Work with internal stakeholders to respond to competitive client briefs and identify new opportunities to upsell and build new business
• Implement and prioritise concurrent advertising campaigns, managing campaign reporting with the support of a Sales Coordinator
• Lead or attending WIP meetings with key agency contacts and/or internal stakeholders
• Manage a revenue pipeline with weekly forecasting
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Represent the Nine brand with a strong and reputable market presence

 Reporting to  the Head of Sales- Health and Personal Care and Processed Foods, you will:

• Ensure that the customer base is served including   management of customer relationship, accurate and timely orders/forecasting/inventory/slow stock management and development of new product and business opportunities with both new and existing customers
• Develop and maintain Account Plans for customers
• Conduct regular customer business review meetings
• Identify and deliver on new opportunities and product sales strategies 
• Prepare and present detailed reporting and analysis on business activities, 
• Support preparation and submission of proposals that deliver a competitive and valuable service offering for customers and our business
• Develop and update the sales plan to achieve the sales budget for the allocated accounts
• Preparing weekly forecasts as to the current and future months’ forecast sales for allocated accounts
• Represent the customer's "voice" within the business and ensuring that their experience throughout PACT is aligned with the strategic importance of the account

Specifically you will:  

• Ensure that our customers are supported actively and with ongoing relationships in mind
• Conduct regular review meetings
• Identify and deliver on new opportunities and product sales strategies for  foods packaging
• Prepare and present reporting and analysis on business activity, performance against targets and market industry opportunities
• Support preparation and submission of proposals that deliver a competitive and valuable service offering for customers and our business
• Represent the customers "voice" within the business and ensure their excellent experience throughout PACT
• Identify sales training needs and participate in sales training programs as required
• Liaise with Quality Assurance and production for the external issue of specifications for customer approval

Your skills and experience

 With a demonstratable track record in sales management and astute commercial acumen as well as practical experience in managing and sales to major accounts. You will also bring:

• Demonstrated commitment and belief of Safety in the workplace and working “Toward Zero Harm”
• Formal/Tertiary qualifications in Business/Finance or related discipline would be preferred
• Resilience with a strong desire to achieve, operational excellence and delivery of agreed growth objectives
