The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is looking for a Production Supervisor (Day Shift) to lead the Production Team based in Archerfield. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
In this hands-on role, you will be leading and providing guidance to a team of 12 team members at our Archerfield branch. You will support the team in the operations, scheduling, machine operation and maintenance. You’ll lead by example, ensuring our products are delivered on time for our customers and your safety and that of the team are never compromised.
What Will You Do?
Leading our production team, you will be:
- leading and supervising our operations area including product scheduling, machine operation and maintenance
- promoting a customer focused culture underpinned with processing accuracy and quality
- supporting and assist your team with daily operations
- identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk - striving for on time delivery for our customers
- ensuring safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified
- growing and mentor your team for their continued development and success
More About You
As an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to pursue a career in leadership in an operations environment, you will bring:
- experience working within operations, warehousing, or logistics environment
- a current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
- demonstrated ability in motivating and building high-performing teams
- an ability to translate business objectives to clear actions and outcomes for your team
- a commitment to the safety and well-being of yourself and others
