We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Trading and Investment Manager who can lead a team while being hands-on with trading across Social, Search, and Programmatic media. This role requires a combination of tactical expertise in campaign execution and strategic thinking, particularly in driving margin and profitability management. You will manage digital media investments and oversee a team of three traders, ensuring that every campaign not only meets performance KPIs but also delivers strong commercial outcomes. This position suits someone who is ready to progress toward a Head of Trading and Investment role in the future, with a clear focus on commercial optimisation and team leadership.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

• Oversee and actively manage digital trading across key platforms (Social, Search, Programmatic) to ensure optimal media investment, profitability, and campaign performance.
• Lead a team of three digital traders, focusing on professional development and the implementation of best practices.  
• Develop and execute digital trading strategies that align with both client objectives and internal profitability targets.
• Negotiate with media suppliers to secure the best pricing, added value, and ensure margins are optimised for agency profitability.
• Analyse and optimise campaigns based on performance data to maximize return on investment (ROI) and contribution to agency margin.
• Innovate within the trading function by adopting new tools, platforms, and processes to maintain a competitive edge while enhancing profitability.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and analytics to continuously improve trading outcomes.
• Cultivate relationships with media owners, platforms, and vendors to ensure advantageous deals that benefit client outcomes and agency margins.
• Provide detailed reports and insights on campaign performance, investment outcomes, and profitability to senior leadership and clients.
• Collaborate with the broader trading and investment teams to influence agency-wide strategies, particularly focusing on digital media’s contribution to overall profitability.

Skills and experience required for this job are:

• Proven experience in digital media trading (Social, Search, and Programmatic).
• Leadership ability, developing and managing teams in a high-performance environment.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset, with expertise in optimising media investments to achieve both performance and profitability goals.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
• Forward-thinking, with a passion for leveraging new tools and strategies to improve trading efficiency and profitability.
• Ambition to grow into a senior leadership role, with a clear focus on the financial success of the agency.

Preferred experience:

• 2+ years’ experience working in an agency environment, managing multiple accounts while ensuring campaign profitability.
• Familiarity with media trading platforms, programmatic technologies, and tools that support margin optimisation.
• A track record of delivering cost-efficient media buys that enhance both client outcomes and agency profitability.

Your day-to-day

• Expansion and delivery of Entain owned products and services in the defined region.
• New business, actively seeking new business opportunities through established networks, and building new networks.
• Account Management, working closely with partnered licensed venues to help grow Entain’s presence within a venue.
• Negotiations of partnership opportunities with key account groups and venue owners.
• Marketing Collaboration – Working closely with the venues marketing teams to enhance marketing benefits of our products within venues.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Legal, Technology to enhance Entains value to venues and customers.
• Liaising with external stakeholders across Licensed venue owners and managers, venue marketing teams etc

What you’ll bring 

• Proven experience in Sales / Account management selling into Licensed Venues. You may have a sales background in one of the Breweries, Wagering, Gaming or other venue entertainment services.
• Proven ability as a highly motivated self-starter who is adept at working unsupervised and is always up for a challenge.
• Experience with Key Accounts in licensed venues would be looked on highly favourably.
• You will have the ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• An enthusiastic go-getter who works well in a face paced enviroment
• Impeccable driving record and hold a current drivers license
