On behalf our client Brunel is currently looking for experienced Measurement & Drilling Specialists in Australia.
This role is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable Product and Service Delivery (PSD) to Customers with respect to directional drilling and measurements/ logging while drilling technologies and services. Previous training in Schlumberger technologies and software are desired.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams. They must have good interpersonal skills, be highly self-motivated, competent, and be able to work in a high-pressure environment as well as be willing to learn and adapt to adverse situations.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Adhere to the client’s Quality, QHSE policies and procedures.
• Represent Schlumberger at the wellsite and interface with customer.
• Inform clients of any unusual conditions during the job and maintains direct contact with client's representative throughout running of service.

Requirements:
• Reside in Australia and have the full right to live and work in Australia including offshore.

• Two-year technical degree (associate degree) is desirable.
• Must have minimum two (2) years field and offshore experience leading any M&D job.
• Ability to assist clients by providing solutions for drilling issues.
• Experience with end of well reports / client's final product delivery.
• Competency in SLB Software is desirable (Maxwell, HSPM, DOX etc)
• Have valid BOSIET, MSIC, ISI and OGUK medical certificate is desirable.

Has an in-depth understanding of how drilling fluids and waste management systems influence each other, and capable of performing advanced troubleshooting and extraordinary maintenance on ES technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide onsite services to the operator for Environmental Services (ES) equipment.
• Advise customer representatives on product application and installation.
• Maintain surveillance of competitor’s activities.

Acts as a consultant to mental health professionals and health service providers, including general practitioners and other agencies, regarding the assessment and management of individuals with mental health disorders.
Undertakes supervisory responsibilities with Registrars/Career Medical Officers, Resident Medical Officers and other medical staff as required/appropriate.

The SMHS Adult Mental Health Service South reforms have provided opportunities in services such as The Acute Care Team, Police, Ambulance and Clinical Early Response (PACER) and Hospital in the Home Teams. In partnership with the University of Tasmania, the Service has also established the Tasmanian Centre for Mental Health Service Innovation which is dedicated to helping enhance and improve mental health service offerings for children, young people, and adults across Tasmania. The Centre is being co-directed by Professor David Castle and Professor Brett McDermott and its activities will focus on workforce development, training and education, research and development, and policy and advocacy.

All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.

Available roles for Staff Specialist – Psychiatrists in SMHS Adult Mental Health Service South, include the provision of services in:

Community-based Mental Health Services, including the Acute Care Stream (ACS), the Continuing Care Stream (CCS), Mental Health Hospital in the Home (MHHiTH) and a community inpatient facility (Peacock House).
The acute general adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit (MHIU) at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH).
The general adult Consultation-Liaison (CL) psychiatric service in the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) and other RHH areas, including the Emergency Department (ED) and the Mental Health Short Stay Unit (MHSSU).
Rehabilitation and extended care facilities: Millbrook Rise Centre (MRC) a 27 beds inpatient facility at New Norfolk and Tolosa Street Centre, which has 6 rehabilitation beds in the community.
Step-up and step-down facilities in the community.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, full time, day worker (with on-call) position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: 

Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1- Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3 $210,000 - $301,349 per annum, pro rata + 11.5% superannuation 

Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $291,472 -$301,349 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award

Salary range is in accordance with Salaried Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: 

Provision of a motor vehicle allowance of $28,389 per annum
Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,480 per annum
Relocation and commencement support available up to $15,000 for approved appointees
Allowance in lieu of participating in private practice scheme 35% of base salary (if applicable)
Other allowances as applicable

Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty

Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements)
