As the Go To Market (GTM) Lead for Australia, you will be responsible for growth and profitability for your market. You will work with our Finance and Strategy (F&S) team, Product Management, and other functional leads to set growth goals, develop a GTM strategy to achieve those goals, and lead and partner with functional experts in your market (i.e., Sales, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Marketing, Account Management, Customer Success) to implement this strategy. You will understand the needs and experiences of your customers, and ensure that Square’s products have product market fit to generate long-term Square value within your market. You will translate your vision into a product and GTM roadmap and gain agreement across all counterparts. 

You will report to Square’s International and Partnerships Lead and directly manage individuals spanning the Product Marketing and Strategy and Planning functions and indirectly manage (i.e. dotted-line) the rest of the GTM functions for your region (e.g. Sales, Central Marketing, Partnerships, Account Management). Over time, depending on experience, functional alignment, and success in the market, there may be a path to directly manage these functions as well.

You will:

• Set the product and business vision for the market. This includes setting growth goals and developing a strategy to achieve - and exceed - targets. Directly manage and influence the cross-functional teams to ensure they are executing our strategy and working well together.
• Manage the Country P&L down to direct EBITDA.
• Define the full-funnel GTM strategy across all channels (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Self-Serve Product Onboarding, etc), oversee implementation to ensure it is properly executed, and closely monitor success and adapt the strategy. Identify which GTM functions and channels we will use to take our product to market and optimize our GTM investment mix (both allocation across channels and spend levels within channels). 
• Operate with a data-driven approach and make investment reallocation decisions with speed, optimizing to achieve maximal and profitable growth.
• Determine Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), target audiences, and the optimal product portfolio through a deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, decision criteria, and competitive landscape. Identify the gaps that exist in our product portfolio and in the market today, and form a thoughtful perspective on how we should prioritize product and feature development efforts to best support the market.
• Guide pricing and packaging decisions to maximize growth, retention and profitability; develop a differentiated messaging framework.
• Help prioritize features by quantifying the business opportunity and expected impact, monitoring product quality, and assessing our evolving product market fit. Work with Product Managers to scope efforts and size the investments and expected returns from new product development, and collaborate throughout the development cycle to ensure we are shipping the right products and features for your market.
• Ensure we support and engage our sellers so they continue using Square and become vocal advocates and promoters for our products to other sellers.
• Engage senior stakeholders across the company to keep them informed about performance and quickly escalate and unblock any challenges; effectively iterate on the strategy based on feedback and results.
• Represent Square externally for major product launches and GTM-oriented initiatives and  in strategic customer and partner conversations.
• Partner with the Industry Relations & Operations Lead to ensure alignment with the business and regulatory requirements in the market.

Based at our new GMP Manufacturing facility in Melbourne, Australia, reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager, this position will be responsible for the management and supervision of all calibration works on GMP/non-GMP process and support equipment. This position will also lead troubleshooting, investigations, and reliability engineering for GMP/non-GMP process and support equipment instrumentation. This position will be the first responder to instrument and electrical equipment issues and must follow through to ensure resolution by either self-performing the work or directing the activities of service providers.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Management and coordination with end-user groups of routine and non-routine calibration work orders using the computerized maintenance management system.

• Specification, fabrication, procurement, installation, engineering start-up, and validation activities of new equipment and systems coordination.

• Developing remediation for follow-up and emergency work to support deviations, corrective actions, and related issues.

• Acting as the Metrology subject matter expert for change management assessments, deviation, and CAPA management.

• Developing and revising metrology procedures and approved practices.

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Participation in reliability-centered calibration programs for assets under their responsibility, development of calibration budgets, spares recommendations, and quality metrics.

• Participation in internal and external audits.

• Management of all Calibration Standards and Buffers to ensure accuracy and ongoing compliance with calibration activities.

• Maintenance of cGMP records, both paper-based and electronic.

• Provision of "on-call" support on a rotating basis and response to facilities issues as needed.

• Maintenance of Qualified Trainer qualifications to facilitate On Job Training (OJT) for colleagues.

• Administration and performance of works safely in accordance with site EHS policy and procedures, including LOTO, working at heights, hot works, and other duties as required.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or equivalent) is preferred.  

• Trade qualification – Certificate 3 Electrical and Instrumentation, preferred.

• 6 to 10 years relevant experience working in a regulated (cGMP preferred) environment. Experience working in sterile manufacturing is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated management and proficiency in calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of instrumentation used in bio-pharmaceutical production. This includes temperature, pressure, flow, and analytical instruments.

• Expertise in the proper storage, handling, and usage of calibration standards and buffers.

• Advanced understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Familiarity with GMP standards, quality management system processes and regulatory standards.

• Demonstrated understanding and management of regulatory requirements (TGA, FDA, EMA etc.)

• Demonstrated experience in maintaining and troubleshooting instrumentation, electrical systems and equipment used throughout the facility.

• Understanding of how to validate equipment and systems to ensure they are working as intended.

• Knowledge of electrical safety practices in the pharmaceutical industry, including handling of hazardous materials and electrical safety.

• Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) experience to schedule and track maintenance activities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) are required.  Expected to be able to present own work to peers and cross-functional managers and influence leadership decisions.  Technical writing skills required.

• Must have a customer service mindset. Ability to manage competing priorities is critical.

• Must be able use his/her technical background to investigate issues using a structured problem solving approach to determine true root cause and develop effective corrective and preventative actions.  Must be able to find true root cause and path forward for complex problems. 

• Ability to identify and drive improvements to calibration tasks and strategy.

• Demonstrated ability to learn new equipment/systems.

• Familiarity with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required.

• Ability to interact well with other groups and must be able to take ownership of and follow through on assignments.  Must be able to drive results on multiple complex assignments simultaneously with minimal required direction from his/her supervisor.

Some of the other responsibilities include:

• Manage a regional team of Application Support Advisors in the delivery of software customer service
• Collaborate with engineering peers to provide customer resolutions within agreed SLAs, advocating customer needs to effectively prioritise support ticket resolution

This is a critical role where you will draw on your deep expertise of systems engineering and interface management relating to railway stations.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage station interface management activities such as lead Interface Working Groups between Stations Packages and Line Wide Package and manage interface issues resolution.
• Provide recommendations in case the solution has impacts on time or contracts.
• Address interface challenges and assess the criticality of unresolved issues.
