Location: Office location will be determined dependant on the right applicant, as we have offices based in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane.
Salary: $70,000 - $95,000
As a Digital Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the team and the main point of contact for clients, managing their paid digital media investment. You’ll be the one putting together the most appropriate digital strategy for each client and making sure KPIs are met. You’ll also be the bridge between digital and the other areas of the agency, making sure digital is being included in all relevant media plans and the best solutions are presented to the clients.
You’ll also work close to the Digital Director to make sure the team is well-resourced and happy, and enhancing the digital product for the agency.
You will be in charge of leading and managing a team across Strategy and Planning, Investment and Digital to produce integrated recommendations across all media channels. You’ll be focusing on dynamic, fast moving and innovative client account.
Responsibilities of the role:
As a Digital Manager, you’ll be working towards:
• Ability to take client briefs and translate into a detailed digital media plan.
• Works closely with Client Lead in understanding comms goals and help deliver those in a campaign.
• Understands the role of channel and competence in planning all digital channels.
• Actively manages and owns detailed plans
• Analyse and interpret digital results and make sure digital campaigns are optimised to client KPI’s
• Oversees the management of campaign optimisation, ensuring the best results are being achieved according to clients’ goals.
• Implement best practice processes for optimising digital marketing campaigns
• Provide product management with strong knowledge of campaign needs and the implementation of processes created to support them
• Manage and maximise value of clients’ budgets in all media negotiations, by setting and monitoring negotiation/buying targets for team members
• Work effectively as a team player within Ikon and support others in their roles
• Participate in culture-based initiatives and encourages team members to participate as well
• Demonstrates knowledge of the digital media market and a specialist in the product area
• Lead the implementation and QA for all campaigns
• A curious mind that keeps abreast of the changing landscape and confidence to put new ideas in front of clients with absolute conviction
• Ensure the team hit and exceed client targets and expectations
• Work with the Communications Director to keep the team happy, motivated and positive
• Prioritise the workload of the Digital team and is involved with training and development of Digital Analysts
• Provides on the job coaching and mentoring for Digital Analysts within the team
• Implement and manage Digital strategies alongside client teams to ensure they are integrated, brilliant and deliver upon client objectives
• Consult with publishers to ensure campaigns are delivered in the best possible way for the client
• Aligns Digital and traditional activity to allow for complete integration
• Work with publishers on implementing new Beta tests
• Provide reporting insights for clients into performance drivers
• Ensures attention to detail for all tasks and accepts accountability for any errors that occur
• Responsible for meeting and exceeding all client needs from a Digital perspective (and beyond, whenever possible)
• Ensure clients remain up to speed with the changing Digital landscape and opportunities that the channel presents.
• Develop excellent client relationships to ensure clients are comfortable about all recommendations
• Consult with Communications Managers and Digital Managers to ensure Digital concepts are aligned with overall campaign
• Provide reporting insights for clients into performance drivers
• Ensures attention to detail for all tasks and accepts accountability for any errors that occur
