Are you an experienced and efficient cleaner with commercial or domestic cleaning experience? 

We have a permanent full time Cleaner situated at our MARS Wodonga site.  

Our Cleaners are team players, they have a can do attitude are flexible to follow various work instructions and always remain focused on safety and service delivery.  You will contribute to the effective and detailed cleaning of the client facilities in line with scoped requirements.   This is a permanent Full time role Monday to Friday 38hrs per week from 1.00pm to 9.00pm.  

Duties include: 

• Cleaning of common areas, bathrooms, showers, floor scrubbing using machine, cleaning of locker rooms and wash stations

• Provide quality work and have demonstrated experience in safety and Chemical awareness 

To be Considered you must be: 

•  Australian Citizenship, or full Australian working rights   

• Able to undergo a pre-employment medical reference and police check

What do Mine Site Cleaners do? 
Mine Site Cleaners are service minded, with a desire to help improve quality of life for village residents living and working away from home.  Working as a mine site cleaner you will mostly clean offices, crib rooms and ablutions; however on occasions support in other operational areas if required. 

• Working across a range of functions to support operational needs 

• Housekeeping/Cleaning accommodation rooms aka: “dongas” 

• Assisting in the Kitchen and Dining Room service areas 

• Mine Site Cleaning of Offices, Crib rooms and Ablution Blocks 

• Providing customer service in the Tavern or Retail shop 

• Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas and grounds 

What does it take to work DIDO?

• Ability to work 10-12-hour shifts, day or night shifts as required 

• Ability to endure remote environment in extreme heat or weather conditions

What does the role look like?
