• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance throughout the hotel to ensure standards are maintained for guest comfort.
• Prioritize and carry out maintenance as requested by Departments on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of all hotel departments.
• Record meter readings and liaise with the General/Hotel Manager regarding options to improve energy management and conservation in keeping with Gaia2.0 Commitments.
• Be responsible for the testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting etc. on a routine basis as required by local Council and Fire Service.
• Liaise with the General/Hotel Manager and Regional Engineer regarding use of contractors within the Hotel, controlling expenditure and ensuring work is to the standard required by the Company and manufacture specifications.
• Ensure the cost effective and hygienic removal of rubbish from the hotel areas and monitor to ensure areas are clear and free of offensive odor.
• Be available to carry out emergency maintenance work outside of normal working hours, as required for full power failure, evacuation fire system re-set and/or failure of mechanical systems.
• Maintain records of repair work and daily checks as required by local Council, Government and Manufacturer specifications.
• Liaise closely with Front Desk and Housekeeping regarding out of service rooms to expedite a quick turn around and return to inventory.
• Ensure the external areas of the hotel are maintained in line with Company brand standards.
• Research, recommend and liaise with the General/Hotel Manager regarding procedures to improve the overall efficiency of the department and to carry out project work/prepare reports as requested by the General/Hotel Manager and Regional Engineer.
• Ensure all staff are competent in the safe and effective use of equipment and chemicals in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Attend and actively participate in daily meetings respecting the confidentiality of issues, which may be discussed formally or informally.
• Prepare monthly Maintenance reports, commenting on key performance indicators and action taken to keep on target.
• Adherence to Emergency Communication procedures ensuring that enquiries from the media are only responded to by the nominated spokesperson.
• Strive to implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active use of Accor Values.
• At all times you will monitor, identify and where possible eliminate work place hazards and risks. This will be in line with the policies established under the guidelines within InterREACT (The primary objective of the InterREACT program is to protect Accor and its employees by ensuring that all Accor locations are identifying and managing their operational risks, both effectively and efficiently, by implementing a pre-determined and standardized set of procedures, augmented by specific State requirements where required.)
• As a member of the Emergency Planning Committee (EPC) you will attend scheduled meetings and actively participate in activities to support the Accor / Sofitel Risk Management program.

Do you have experience in leading a team?  NRMA Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park at North Narrabeen is seeking a Full Time Permanent, Grounds and Maintenance Manager!  You will work a steady 9-5 from Friday - Tuesday.

What you will do:

Our Grounds and Maintenance team will ensure the highest possible standards in presentation and safety of assets, grounds and facilities.  As department manager, you will settle into our Head of Department management structure and assist in providing leadership, oversight and daily coordination to grounds and maintenance duties, task allocation and team rosters. You will ensure effective communication and liaison with other park management, to guarantee a smooth resort operation and product.  You will:

• Ensure the grounds and maintenance team have direction daily and receive any training and development that may be required. 
• Ensure adequate coverage as required 
• Ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained 
• Attend and contribute to leadership meetings as required
• Ensure and maintain a safe environment for our employees and guests 
• Wear your uniform with pride – you are happy to get your hands dirty to support your team and go the extra mile with a smile on your dial to assist our guests 
• Act on incidental guest service assistance with minor maintenance repairs across our sites, cabins, villas, amenities and other facilities.
• Assist the team to service water park - repairs and maintenance as required
• Assist with any on site projects, or repairs as required.

What you will bring:

• Proven experience in leading, influencing and bringing out the ‘best’ in a team
• Trade qualification (or similar) is a bonus but not necessary
• Hands on experience in maintenance of plant, gardens and in operating related equipment/machinery

As an IT Senior Service and Systems Support Officer, you will be the go-to person for incident management and second-level support for end-user computing, telephony, infrastructure, and systems. You will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to users, resolving incidents and service requests, and maintaining a broad knowledge of the services provided by Information Services and other units within AFCA. We are seeking someone who is experienced in helpdesk support and looking to join our Sydney based team. 

Please note this is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Sydney with hybrid working arrangements.

Typically, in this role you will cover:

• Incident Management: Be the central point of contact for users, manage incidents and service requests, and ensure all activities are recorded and monitored according to agreed service levels.
• Level 1 & 2 Support: Provide support for end-user computing, telephony, infrastructure, and systems, perform routine maintenance tasks, and act as a liaison for warranty and repair tasks.
• Incident Escalation: Escalate incidents and requests to appropriate parties, seek advice for non-standard or complex requests, and monitor progress against service level agreements.
• Other Duties: Contribute to continuous service improvement, work with relevant stakeholders to improve processes, manage professional development, and demonstrate AFCA values in all interactions.
