What you’ll do

At the moment, as an Applications Packager you will be focused on:

• Software packaging and repackaging. This will cover from discovery through to deployment support
• Package based on BAU tickets as well as project
• Participate in project planning sessions and project delivery
• Prepare documentation for use by Operational staff
• Analyse and rectify packaging problems
• Leverage enterprise grade tools, processes, and frameworks to deliver high-quality services and outcomes to Datacom customers in accordance with SLAs

• Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (e.g., change/release).

What you’ll bring

You will have an IT technical support background, ideally within an IT-managed service provider, and know about Windows 10, 11 and Windows 2016/2019 Server operating systems. You will have knowledgeable skills in endpoint management platforms, System Centre Configuration Manager, VMware, VMWare Vsphere, VMware Horizon, Active Directory, Chocolatey Package manager, SOE Template concepts and Application control concepts.

You will bring exceptional troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritisation skills; and will be comfortable and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision. You will be comfortable with rapid change and be available to travel to Datacom, customer sites and conferences when required.

You will also be keen to learn and grow within your career with your own motivation to want to Attain and/or maintain relevant industry or professional certification(s).

Role Purpose                                                                                   

As a Systems Engineer you will be instrumental in the capture of customer, regulatory, internal Applied EV inputs, and translating into technical specifications and high-level designs. You will support the cascading of requirements into the domain engineering teams. Working closely with the Integration & Test teams you will ensure the defined requirements have supporting test cases which are traceable.

The Systems Engineer plays a critical part in translating technical specifications into potential architectural solutions, assessing the technical choices to ensure the best trade-off between requirement, schedule, risk and cost are achieved.

The Systems Engineer understands and practices a Systems Engineering approach and has an ability to decompose complexity using different levels of abstraction and expression.

The Systems Engineer will support the Functional Safety team to achieve the defined safety goals of the products under development.

The Systems Engineer is required to be an articulate technical communicator with experience interfacing between management, customers, suppliers and domain engineering teams.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Capture and elaboration of system level requirements for the Blanc Robot and Digital Backbone which can be cascaded down to engineering teams to enable product development.
• Working closely with the Verification and Testing team to ensure System Requirements are defined in such a way that they are testable.
• Interfacing with domain engineering teams to ensure that the system definition is translated into lower-level work products consistent with higher level specifications and use cases.
• Develop Interface Control Documents to facilitate the correct integration of independently developed components into the overall system.
• Develop System Architecture Design documents and models to communicate the high-level design and design justifications to the domain engineering teams. Document design elaboration including behavioural aspects (sequence diagrams) in the System Architecture Design (SAD)
• Deliver work products in line with the program schedule, highlighting deficiencies and associated risk to program execution. Ensure that identified risks are communicated in an appropriate forum and that a champion is assigned to establish countermeasures.
• Undertake reviews with domain engineering teams to ensure Software, Electrical and Mechanical requirements align with the System level requirements.
• Undertake reviews with domain engineering teams to ensure Software, Electrical and Mechanical architecture design is compatible with the overall system architecture.
• Utilise the relevant toolchains to develop, release and control System Requirements and Architecture artefacts.
• Lead resolution of system architecture issues raised by domain engineering teams. Ensure issues are appropriately tracked in the relevant toolchain, and where required (based on program status) create an Engineering Change Request for architecture evolutions.
• Leverage organisational knowledge and SMEs to optimise/accelerate System Architecture definition.

The ideal candidate will bring

• An Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a System Engineering role involving software, electrical and/or mechanical engineering domains.
• Proficient in use case analysis, requirements capture, requirements development, refinement, and release for execution.
• Capable of supporting the development, assessment, and work product generation for complex system architectures.

Who we’re looking for:

Manage relationships and liaise with direct SME customers, brokers and business partners to achieve sales targets through growth of existing customers and new customer acquisition. Manage relationships with existing customers to ensure incremental growth of the leased fleet, maximisation of customer retention, fleet penetration, profitability and high customer satisfaction levels.

What you’ll be doing:

• Achieve company sales targets by retaining direct SME customers and identifying new business growth opportunities from existing customers and partners.
• Develop and own a sales pipeline of opportunities including new customer leads, additional leased vehicles & imminent expiries to deliver new business writings.
• Build and manage relationships with existing brokers and partners that introduce new customers to Fleet Partners through regular contact strategy.
• Ensure the retention and growth of direct SME customers by communicating through phone and email and meet minimum activity targets in line with proactive contact strategy.
• Ensure all customer deliverables including application, quote requests and general queries are managed in accordance with SLA’s and customer expectations.
• Provide value added market intelligence to the Sales and Marketing department including customer, competitor and product feedback to improve our value proposition to win.
• Upload and maintain relevant customer data in Salesforce and other operating systems to capture all opportunities and customer communication holistically
• Other duties as required.

Essential

• Experience in B2B account management or inside sales orientated role. Fleet management and leasing, automotive or broker industry experience preferred.
• Proven ability in exceeding sales targets and retaining and growing portfolio’s with superior customer service.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline using CRM Salesforce or equivalent.
• Proven consultative and solution-based selling skills preferably through partners or to small business.
• Demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities and sell on value not price.
• Results driven and target focussed and able to build and maintain a sales pipeline.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability in managing complex environments and situations.
