The role

Enjoy building relationships with store managers and team members to effectively complete your work, building displays and merchandising a wide variety of Optus & amaysim products within a variety of retail stores. Responsibilities will include:

·        Creating, building and maintaining quality point of sale displays and planograms in store

·        Talking to stores about additional promotional space for a variety of products for leading brands

·        Achievement of targets within Grocery, Corporate Petrol & Convenience and Mass Merchant stores across a set territory

·        Managing your territory of retail stores and reporting tasks with good quality photos daily via our StoreTrack app

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and capable Sales Lead/Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for driving our sales strategy and expanding our market presence. The successful candidate will be adept at developing and scaling complex sales operations, capable of initiating and managing high-value deals, and experienced in negotiating and communicating with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies, process and systems to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, including proactively sourcing new opportunities and nurturing inbound leads.
• Engage and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders within client and prospect organisations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage new technologies and processes for lead generation, and the development of impactful sales collateral
• Lead efforts in operationalising and automating sales processes to continuously streamline efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide insights into market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

• Proven experience as a sales specialist or similar role, preferably in the recycling industry or similarly operationally complex fields.
• Strong ability to develop and execute sales strategies, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
• Self-initiating with a hunter mentality to driving growth
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with senior-level executives.
• Demonstrated ability to self-initiate and drive results in new market segments.
• Experience with CRM software and lead generation technologies.
• Desirable but not essential: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Head of Development to join our experienced Impact Missions team, based in either Perth or Sydney. Reporting to the Executive Director, Impact Missions, you will be well versed in tackling urgent challenges and existential threats on an international level. You will move with agility across varied subject matter to rapidly understand and execute on new priorities and as triaged by the Executive Director.

The Head of Development will work closely with the Director, Delivery and drive effective collaboration between the portfolios. The Head of Development will motivate the team to be focused and agile to identify Minderoo’s unique contribution to new issues and stay aligned with the Impact Missions approach.

Day to day, you will be required to:

• Lead the team’s overall strategy to design, implement and advance the Impact Missions methodology, with a particular focus on Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
• Lead a small, high performing team responsible for the stand up of new projects, ensuring they continue to implement their work in line with the Impact Missions approach.
• Establish and lead with enthusiasm projects triaged to the Development team by the Executive Director.
• Identify when internal or external subject matter expertise may be required and ensure these needs are met through seconded or contracted expertise.
• Ensure projects successfully transition to the Delivery Team for ongoing implementation.
• Work closely with the Executive Director and Director, Delivery as a cohesive leadership team driving a ‘can do’ culture.
• Represent Minderoo at all levels, both internally and externally across a variety of stakeholders.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the Executive Director and CEO to move Development projects forward impactfully.
