Key Purpose of the role
To manage and administer IP Enterprise, Data Centre & WIFI Technologies for BT and its Global customers.
Provide Level 3 technical support. Provide escalation support and liaising with customer representatives or vendors and supporting/directing other support staff where appropriate.

Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Accountant will support the AFC Department to provide professional, efficient and systematic processing of all FGJV Accounts function.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance or any other related Commerce field
• White card

Experience:
• 10 years' experience within an accounting department
• At least 2 years' experience in a senior role
• Preferred experience within a construction (infrastructure) environment

Required Competencies:
• Knowledge of SAP an HM
• Sound understanding of financial accounting concepts and Australian Accounting Standards as well as IAS/IFRS and Italian GAAP
• Banking system knowledge
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Sound problem solving skills
• Ability and desire to coach and guide subordinate team members
• Strong Initiative and proactive nature
• Key collaborative skills
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills
• Sound time management skills

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

The Senior Accountant will carry out the accurate and timely collection, processing and reporting of accounts payable and financial data.
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of accounting information within the Snowy 2.0 Project by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions to ensure efficient and accurate financial information.
Daily transaction posting and book-keeping through SAP;
Preparation and review of the executive budget at the end of each month, year or following a substantive change
Financial accounting;
Bank reconciliation;
Cash flow management;
General Ledger reconciliation;
Internal audit compliance;

You will need to have an Auto Electrician Trade Qualification and relevant diagnostic type work experience to be successful in this position.

Duties:
• Electrical diagnostics
• Servicing, maintenance and repair with various mining Mobile Plant Equipment
• Troubleshooting electrical faults
• Attending breakdowns on site
• Repair equipment efficiently and consistent with the required standards of work
• Electrical rewiring and modifications as needed
• Maintain a high standard of accurate documentation and reporting
•
Skills and Experience Required:
• Strong focus on safety and quality
• Ability to work in a fast pace workshop
• Proven field service experience
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Own tooling specific to the trade
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Experience in the mining industry (FIFO)
•
These positions will be an ongoing and FIFO from Perth or in other regional Western Australian locations. You must able to pass drug and Alcohol, medical, and police clearance, and you must have current drivers licence and MR licence or higher.
