The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join our regional branch in Toowoomba as an Account Manager. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will work closely with the broader branch team (sales, customer service and operations) colleagues to ensure product and service delivery for our valued customers. Working predominantly in the field, this will see you:

• execute customer call planning cycles;
• develop and implement market plans and strategies;
• work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to fulfil customer needs;
• service existing customer base and grow new client base with proactive selling; and
• monitor customer activity and market conditions for further opportunities and/ or risks.

You will look after a geographic territory that encompasses Toowoomba and South West Queensland. This will require infrequent and overnight travel depending on how you plan your call and visit cycle.

More About You

We welcome applications from a variety of sales and/or account management backgrounds. It is your proven success in a business-to-business external sales environment that will see you succeed in this role. As an experienced professional you can demonstrate:

• previous experience in home improvement or a related field preferred.

About the role

• Team Global Express is seeking a Van / Delivery Driver to commence immediately in Toowoomba

• This is a Full Time Permanent Role, Monday to Friday, 7.6 hours * 5 days per week

• Overtime will be offered on a need by need basis

• Complete deliveries and pick ups using our fleet of vans

• Complete deliveries promptly and according to time frames

• You must hold a current open C Class (or higher). You must be able to operate a combination of manual and automatic vehicles. 

• Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently

• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes

• Keeping our vans clean and in maintainable condition at all times, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy

• Must be able to complete your own vehicle pre-start checks

• Please Note: There is no set allocation of vehicles in this position

What you’ll bring

• You will hold a Current & Valid C Class License or Higher

• You will be able to follow instructions and work autonomously

• You must have excellent punctuality and the ability to complete deliveries in a timely manner
