About the role

Team Global Express is seeking 2x Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics for our modern workshop at Brighton Tasmania.

As a qualified Heavy vehicle mechanic, you will bring your extensive experience of vehicle preventative maintenance and repairs to our fleet.

Vehicles within our fleet include Mercedes Benz, Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu, Fuso, Freightliner, and multiple trailer manufacturers.

About the Role:
The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible to perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts receivable transactions and client billing.

• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Knowledge of accounts receivable.
• Experience within aged care.
• Knowledge of basic accounting functions and software.
• Proficient use of technology including MS Outlook, Excel, Aim, and Inerva.
• Ability to analyse and problem solve issues autonomously.
• Proficient in data entry and management.
• 1-3 years accounts receivable or general accounting experience.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Team Global Express understand that good Forklift Operators are a rare resource that need to be respected and valued. We have exciting full time permanent opportunities for Forklift Operators for our Launceston depot.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be loading and unloading general freight of various sizes in a safe and compliant manner.

What you’ll do

• This is a Full-Time position, 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week
• Accurately sort and load freight into designated dock areas and onto delivery vehicles with a high degree of accuracy
• Be able to handle freight items manually and safely as required.
• Be able to use technology to an efficient standard and be able to operate inhouse scanner devices and ensure that any Dangerous Goods to be loaded are segregated and restrained accordingly
• Load and unload general freight of various sizes in a safe and compliant manner

What you’ll bring

• You must hold a current and valid LF Forklift License.
• Must have previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to handle freight – manual lifting of up to 16kgs

Our recruitment process

Applying for a job starts with an online application form, from there you may be invited to complete an online assessment followed by a virtual or in person interview. The last step is undergoing pre-employment checks, which includes a criminal history check and a medical assessment including fitness to work and drug & alcohol screening.
