We are looking to appoint a professional and dedicated Junior Accountant to our Finance team in our Maroochydore Head Office on a full time basis. This opportunity would be perfect for someone who has recently completed their degree and is looking for a long term career opportunity in a fantastic team environment. 

This position will be responsible for assisting with the day to day accounting activities within the Finance department, whilst also providing exceptional administration support to the Finance Shared Services team. 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

• Assisting with monthly Profit & Loss reporting for a portfolio of properties
• Standard end of month journals including accruals, revenue and reclasses for a portfolio of properties
• Expense allocations across the group
• Monthly Revenue, Balance Sheet and Bank reconciliations
• AR Receipting
• Attending to Finance Help Desk queries
• Assisting properties with all finance related queries
• Review reports from our Property Management System and identify any errors requiring correction before EOM

We are looking for a professional and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team in our Maroochydore Head Office on a full-time basis.

This role is responsible for completing timely accounts receivable processing, as well as providing exceptional accounts and administration assistance to our finance department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the highest standard of customer service. 

• Monitoring and managing accounts receivable ledger on our ERP and Trust systems, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collection of payments
• Processing Credit Applications and maintaining up-to-date documentation on all debtors and limits approved
• Bank reconciliations
• Prepare and examine accounts receivable reports, highlighting trends and providing insight to management
• Liaising with internal stakeholders, shared service function and management on financial related queries
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Providing general administration support to the financial team as required

What You'll Do:

A Full Time salaried opportunity, reporting to the Cafe Manager, you will assist in guiding the Cafe team to deliver an exceptional service to our resort guests.  Shifts can be rostered across a 7-day period and generally for an 8 hour shift anytime between the Cafe opening hours of 7am - 7pm.  Weekend and Public Holiday availability is required.

You will assist with:

• Basic food prep and cooking
• Working alongside the Cafe Manager, Resort Manager and Department Heads
• Stock take, ordering and rostering duties to support the Cafe Manager
• Training, or guiding the Cafe team and ensure service standards are met
• Barista duties as required
• Other duties as may be required from time to time due to operational needs.

What You'll Bring:

Ideally, you will have previously had extensive experience in a Cafe or Bistro setting and you are now ready to move into a role where no one day will ever be the same. Your hands on experience will assist in leading & mentoring the department to success.

About the Role:
The Administration Assistant provides general administrative support to both the General Manager and the facility. The position has direct responsibility for managing general office administration, reception, rostering, and associated support services. The Administration Assistant is responsible for liaising with employees, contractors, volunteers, visitors, residents, and their families at the facility.

Administration & Operational Key Duties:

• Provide a customer-focused reception service for the facility and promptly respond to or direct enquiries.
• Provide general administrative support to the General Manager (and other managerial employees), and perform a range of administrative tasks including but not limited to typing, photocopying, filing, answering telephone enquiries and general office duties.
• Roster employees using Time Target in accordance with the facility’s staffing requirements.
• Review timesheets against the roster as required by the General Manager.
• Source and roster replacement staff in the event of illness or unexpected absenteeism.
• Ensure timely response to all enquiries, and refer any compliment or complaint to the General Manager.
• Manage and order office and other general facility supplies to ensure efficient delivery of administrative services to the facility and residents.
• Develop reports and take accurate minutes of meetings as required.
• Arrange distribution of the facility resident newsletter as required.
• Maintain the key register and organise individuals to sign the required forms in relation to allocated keys.
• Collect mail each morning and distribute to staff and residents.
• Ensure outgoing mail is dispatched by the end of each working day.
• Manage and maintain facility evacuation kits.
• Any other task not defined but within the employee's skills, as directed by the organisation.

Essential:

• Minimum Certificate of Education or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience of office procedures.
• High-level customer service skills.
• Advanced computer and word processing skills.
• Cash handling and banking experience.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening or National Police Certificate as applicable at the facility (or ability to acquire).
• Recognised qualification (Cert III) in business administration.
• Experience in residential aged care administration.

Desirable:

• Experience in rostering/ sick leave and holiday roster management.

This is a casual position.  The Cafe Hours will be 6:30am - 11am (Mon, Thur, Fri Sat & Sun) & 3:30pm - 8:30pm (Thurs - Sun). You will:

• Ensure all aspects of food preparation, cooking and presenting of dishes are according to company guidelines and customer preferences
• Liaise with, food service staff and management regarding customers order and general service of kitchen operations
• Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, to include proper storage of food, equipment, utensils and implements
• Daily temperature checks of fridges, freezers, storage areas, deliveries and recording assessment where necessary
• Cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning

This role is responsible for delivering timely payroll processing, reporting, and guidance to a diverse portfolio of our group’s properties and offices across Australia and New Zealand. Focusing on accuracy, efficiency and exceptional customer service, this position will see you collaborating closely with a team of experienced Payroll professionals, allowing for a dynamic working environment. 

Key Responsibilities Include:  

• End to end processing of fortnightly and 2-weekly payroll(s) 
• On-going maintenance of the payroll and leave planning systems 
• Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries 
• Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts in relation to overtime, shift allowances etc. 
• Supporting the Payroll Manager with month end reporting, both internal and statutory reporting
