We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our dynamic team at Luke Graham Tiling Pty Ltd. What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Site Supervisor/Project Manager, the Wall and Floor Tiler will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, glass, and stone, in residential and commercial settings. The candidate will need to be able to

Accurately measure, cut, and install tiles on walls and floors using appropriate tools and techniques.

Prepare surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, patching, leveling, and applying adhesives, and ensuring surfaces are clean, dry, and free of debris.

Apply grout and sealant to finished tile work to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.

Collaborate with clients and supervisors to understand design requirements and tile layouts.

Utilise tools and materials to create patterns and designs as specified in project plans.

With the Site Supervisor/Project Manager, inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client specifications.

Address any issues or defects in tile installation promptly and efficiently.

Perform repairs on existing tile installations, including re-grouting and replacing damaged tiles.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.

Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the project.

Adhere to all safety regulations and standards while on job sites.

Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and within project timelines

Collaborate with the team to coordinate and complete tiling tasks efficiently

Maintain a safe and tidy work environment

Your new role

Maintain high levels of customer service with both internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Department Supervisor to manage production schedules and workloads.
Participate in personal training and development opportunities.
Ensure adherence to quality control measures and company policies.
Comply with Workplace Health & Safety regulations, including conducting regular hazard audits and using personal protective equipment (PPE).

Skills & Experience
Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication.
Minimum of two years’ experience in the welding industry.
