Your day will include;

• Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of older people so they have a safe and beautiful place to live
• Helping our customers with meal preparation and shopping 
• Providing social support and access to lifestyle activities
• Personal care inc getting them up, showered and dressed for the day, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals
• Providing respite and emotional support
• Social support and transport to appointments
• Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

What do we look for in a Care Worker? 

• You care about assisting our aged community so they can live independently at home for longer. 
• You have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
• You don’t sweat the small stuff; sometimes your customer will be having a bad day or traffic delays you. You know not to take this personally and to shake it off before your next customer.
• You're available to work at least 3 days - Monday - Friday. No night or weekend work here.
• You're comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.

As our Marketing Manager, you will champion the Sofitel Spirit by:

• Launch vibrant marketing campaigns that paint our resort as the ultimate destination, encouraging guests to live their most memorable moments with us—from sunlit brunches to starlit celebrations, serene spa days, and 'Instagrammable' moments around every corner. Create visual and experiential content that invites shares and likes, making our resort a must-post destination.
• Using your flair for storytelling to create engaging narratives that resonate deeply with our audience, turning every experience and communication into an invitation to indulge and enjoy.
• Liaising with the global brand team to ensure that all content is current, consistent, and aligns with brand standards across all channels. Facilitate the adaptation of global marketing strategies to local contexts while maintaining brand integrity.
• Working with our agencies to ensure consistency of message, channel and strategy by managing and overseeing the hotel's online presence, including websites, social media platforms, and email marketing channels, ensuring content is fresh, engaging, and reflective of the luxury brand.
• Taking the lead on marketing the hotel’s food and beverage offerings. Develop and execute promotional strategies that highlight the uniqueness of the hotel’s culinary experiences, special events, and seasonal menus to drive patronage and revenue.
• Bringing a creative vision to all marketing materials and campaigns. Oversee the design and production of visual and written content, ensuring it meets the high standards expected by luxury guests. Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the marketing team.
• Embracing the elegance and excellence of the Sofitel brand, bringing it to life in every campaign, post, and promotion, including our spa.

The Director of Marketing is responsible for enhancing and maximising the profile of Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort and its various outlets. We are looking for someone with experience in:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the hotel's luxury branding and business goals. Lead cross-functional teams to enhance the hotel's market presence and revenue generation.
• Digital Marketing Expertise: Spearhead digital marketing initiatives across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and the hotel’s various websites. Focus on leveraging digital tools to enhance guest engagement and retention and on-going reporting.  A test and learn mindset is preferable.
• Brand Management: Uphold and elevate the hotel’s luxury brand identity across all marketing channels, ensuring consistency and high standards in all communications and promotional materials.
• Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends and competitor strategies to adapt and refine marketing tactics. Utilise data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
• Customer Relationship Management: Oversee the development and enhancement of CRM systems and strategies, across our various outlets, to better understand guest needs and preferences, aiming to personalize experiences and increase guest loyalty.
• Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across digital and traditional channels for maximum return on investment.
• Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a marketing team that is proactive and innovative. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Partnership and Collaboration: Establish and maintain productive relationships with external partners, including digital marketing agencies, media outlets, and technology providers, to ensure the hotel remains at the forefront of marketing innovations.
• Content Creation: Oversee the creation of compelling and high-quality content that reflects the luxury and uniqueness of the hotel experience, tailored for specific platforms and target audiences.
• Event Marketing: Leverage significant hotel events and partnerships to create buzz and drive bookings, coordinating with sales teams to maximize exposure and revenue opportunities.
• Hands-On Involvement: Actively engage in day-to-day marketing activities and campaign execution, demonstrating a hands-on approach to managing digital platforms and direct marketing efforts. Ensure personal involvement in critical projects to guide the team towards achieving excellence and innovation in all marketing endeavors.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel departments, such as Sales, F&B and Guest Experience, to ensure a seamless flow of communications and to capitalise on cross-functional revenue opportunities. Facilitate regular meetings and collaborative projects to align strategies and enhance the overall effectiveness of marketing efforts across the hotel.

This position is responsible for assisting in the management of all Recruitment, Talent, Training and Development activities at Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort. With a diverse group of 300 employees, this integral role is involved in:

• Oversee frontline recruitment, ensuring requisitions are completed.
• Prepare and distribute employee documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
• Support employee development by prompting and tracking performance reviews, training attendance and coordinating exit interviews.
• Ensure individual team member files are maintained and regularly updated, tracking data for accuracy and reporting purposes.
• Build communication strategy to ensure culture and engagement message is well received throughout the hotels and wider community.
• Coordinate with the business to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential.
• Ensure that the onboarding experience is prioritized and contributes to driving retention.

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract to January 2025 for parental-leave cover.
