Reporting to the Senior Manager, Property Development, you will be supported by an Assistant Development Manager and will be responsible for development from concept to completion, including acquisition and due diligence, feasibility preparation, approvals, design, project and budget management.  

Your down to earth approach together with your professional communication skills and ability to effectively engage with, and influence multiple stakeholders, will support your success.  

Your primary responsibilities will include;  

• Providing successful outcomes in all areas of development, compliance, refurbishment, and redevelopment of all our building related assets. 
• Working collaboratively and effectively with internal and external stakeholders across multifunctional business units to ensure the effective delivery and services to the business.  
• Managing safety and compliance closely following all policies and procedures. 
• Providing accurate financial management expenditure forecasts related to development projects. 
• Managing expenditure in line with approved Senior Executive Committee and Board proposals / Business Cases 

The ideal applicant will be driven with a passion for success and have 5+ years’ post graduate experience in large scale property development management in addition to;  

• Tertiary qualifications in a property related discipline - Architecture, Engineering, Property Economics or Construction 
• Master of Property Investment and Development – Desirable 
• Demonstrated experience - project management, project feasibility study development, project planning & documentation and understanding of property development & building industry 
• Highly developed analytical skills, commercial acumen, financial analysis (IRR) 
• Detailed understanding and experience with planning application and approval processes 
• Detailed working knowledge of relevant building codes and standards as applied to development projects. 
• Ability to provide proof of Covid19 Immunisations – Essential

Position Purpose

• Be responsible for supporting the Venue Manager in supervising the daily operations and team members of the Brewery Bar + Kitchen.

• Play a key role with major event activations, coaching and supporting team members and ensuring compliance across our beverage, gaming and restaurant areas.

• Support the Electrical department to ensure output, HSE and Quality targets are met
• Support Production in defined area of responsibility to meet customer demand on time
• Assist with carrying out maintenance requirements for workshop and plant equipment

Reporting to the Precinct Conference & Events Sales Manager, the Conference & Events Coordinator is responsible for, but is not limited to;

• Coordinating events which includes liaising with the client, preparing & distributing banquet event orders and following the hotel billing and follow up procedure
• Conduct and host site inspections with clients & suppliers including follow up.
• Build relationships with contracted clients and upsell additional products and services.
• Liaise with the Hotel operational teams to ensure exceptional service & successful events are achieved.
• Responsible for pre-event and post event invoicing. Post event invoices to be issued next business day of event completion.
• Handle incoming telephone calls and follow through using own initiative.
• Answer all calls promptly, within 3 rings using specified greeting for hotel, in a courteous and efficient manner. Ensure that all relevant information is obtained.
• Coordinate and host familiarisation and site inspection activity including follow[1]up.
• Maintain effective communication with the Conference & Events Manager providing market intelligence on a regular basis and understanding of competitor strengths weaknesses and ongoing sales activities.
• Maintain existing customer base to ensure their business is retained by building and developing relationships.
• Adhere to Hotel’s rate structure with variations approved by the Conference & Events Sales Manager
• Use of Delphi to accurately record all client requirements including all related block activities.
