We are responsible for collecting hundreds of millions of events from client devices each day and streaming them directly into our data warehouse. We extract data from the majority of Nine’s enterprise systems, centralise it in our data warehouse. You will be responsible for the design and overseeing the development of rich data models for analysis and to inform business operations and strategy for reporting, personalisation and commercialisation. You will play a key role in shaping and maturing the Nine data platform to enable critical business decisions and outcomes.

What you’ll do:

• Design and maintain advanced data models, including conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional modelling.
• Collaborate with broader teams to translate business needs into effective data solutions.
• Perform data profiling/analysis activities that will help establish, modify, and maintain a data model.
• Lead the creation of a taxonomy/data dictionary to communicate data requirements that are important to business stakeholders.
• Lead and participate in design workshops to facilitate an understanding of business data needs and how they are mapped to the data model.
• Support review, sign-off and adoption of data models in collaboration with data product, architecture, and data engineering teams.
• Articulating modelling principles to the broader data engineering team

We are seeking a Marketing Manager for a 12-month max-term contract to deliver upon the brand and acquisition strategy for The Sydney Morning Herald & The Age. You will develop and deliver high-impact ATL and TTL campaigns that that strengthen brand affinity, boost engagement, and grow subscription revenue.

In this role you will develop and execute consumer marketing strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels, leveraging consumer insights and media planning. As a strategic, data-driven, and detail-oriented marketer, you will manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Collaboration with internal and external creative, digital, and media agencies will be key to delivering compelling, impactful campaigns.

Day-to-day you will:

• Assist the Marketing Lead  in delivering the Metro Brand & Acquisition strategy, through the shaping and delivery of insight-fueled strategic and tactical programs of work.
• Lead campaign strategy, development and execution across all media channels, ensuring alignment with objectives and data-driven results.
• Develop a growth-focused media strategy, optimizing spend across traditional and digital and traditional channels to maximize audience engagement.
• Ensure consistent brand application across the customer journey, providing guidance and maintaining clear brand guidelines.
• Work closely with Tier 1 creative, media, and research agencies to deliver high-quality campaigns under tight deadlines.
• Report on the performance of campaigns and other initiatives, providing insightful and accurate updates to executives in a timely manner. Highlight potential optimisations and adjustments to ensure campaigns continue to meet objectives and drive success.

As the My Dan Murphy’s Loyalty Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the customer benefits and operations of the My Dan’s loyalty program, working horizontally across the Marketing team and the wider business embed the program consistently across the business and drive initiatives to grow and retain the member base.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Partner with the Senior Loyalty Marketing Manager to build and develop the My Dan’s program, customer value proposition and cross-channel customer experience for members.
• End to end project management in creating the calendar of commercial & engaging loyalty activities in partnership with channel owners, including in-store/point-of-sale, email/lifecycle marketing and digital/performance media.
• Develop the creative briefs and communications with all internal stakeholder (Marketing, Event, Operations etc) and channel agencies to ensure clarity of the My Dan’s message across marketing activity.
• Lead the execution of our offers capability in partnering with our Product owners, including setting up offers, audience selection, creative briefing & post analysis.
• Lead post campaign reviews on market performance and internal effectiveness against key success measures.
• Supporting the broader marketing team through delivery of loyalty activity aligned to brand framework, business priorities and the overarching campaign strategy.
• Acting as the program champion/subject matter expert to embed the program in the business to build awareness and drive consistency in execution across all touchpoints.
• Acting as the main day-to-day point of liaison between the Loyalty team and the Store/Online/Operations/Tech teams, supporting on team member development, program advocacy and operational matters relating to customer queries.
• Lead the day to day management of loyalty operations & logistics including card and collateral design/production with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Support the Senior Loyalty Marketing Manager partnering with endeavourX Product Owners to develop strategy & implementation of ongoing Proofs of Concept around new loyalty initiatives; inclusive of strategy, customer experience, operations roll out and tech platforming.
• Measurement and reporting of loyalty KPI; supporting with analysis and trends of membership base inclusive of circulation through the business. 
• Bring cross functional teams together and coordinate a regular operating rhythm to ensure the successful delivery of actions to timelines and resolve any misalignment in planned activity.
• Manage marketing financials for loyalty activity including managing the budget, raising purchase orders, updating the spend tracker, and managing financials/invoices with external suppliers.
