Reporting to the Venue Manager, and supporting the Sous Chef, our new Demi Chef will:

• Prepare mise en place for all relevant menus.
• Ensure consistent great food production, in line with the high quality standards set by the hotel.
• Assist with ordering necessary food items accordingly to business needs and demands.
• Comply with all WHS, food safety legislation.
• Work with and coordinate the work of other chefs in the preparation and production of food as required.
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage, whereby you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining stock control procedures.
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.
• Report any maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues.
• Awareness departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team.

• Oversee, manage, and support HR processes in the company to ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, legislation, and company’s policies
• Coordination of the on- and offboarding processes, probation periods 
• HR administration and reporting
• Support the executive team to deliver on strategic objectives while building strong culture, alignment, employee engagement, team ownership and accountability
• Drive the local OHS plan to ensure the Company complies with all legislative requirements, creating a safe workplace that prioritises the employee well being
• Coordinate with the L&D team to ensure that training covers all local compliance needs around OHS, Data Privacy, Data Security, and Australian Competitions Legislation
• Partner with business unit leaders, designing and implementing comprehensive people solutions for short and long-term organizational needs
• Coach and guide business leaders on employee relations matters.
• Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters, supporting employees and business leaders impartially
• Work closely with the different teams, including finance and delivery, to optimise  an excellent work environment
• Conducting regular meetings with managers to provide guidance on change management, compensation strategies, retention efforts, talent assessments and performance development
• Owning and conducting investigations as needed, ensuring consistent and transparent application of HR policies and practices.
• Aligning with Global HR teams to ensure the successful implementation of HR-related projects
• Support key change initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, develop internal communication messages
• Coordinate relocations from other business units of Globant

Purpose of your role

The Business Analyst position is a key role that is responsible for applying analytical solutions to problems and existing processes with the aim to increase effectiveness through technology solutions.  This role plays an integral part in bridging the gap between Technology, Product and the Business using data analytics to assess processes and determine requirements that will allow Technology delivery teams to effectively meet business needs.  An ability to produce documentation (in a timely manner) that supports either product or project teams to achieve outcomes, using different delivery methodologies is an important part of the role, so a blend of experience is important particularly in terms of agile delivery. 

The initial focus will be working with our Customer Management team, with Salesforce transformation experience essential. The focus will be on working both transformation change initiatives and operational BAU activities that support our Customer Management capabilities team. You will be providing business expertise and practical solution delivery experience to ensure that the team you are working with consistently delivers quality software that meets user product requirements and acceptance criteria. The role will support dependency management and help to remove impediments that are preventing the team from accomplishing its goals.

This role is within a fast-moving team and will involve working with some ambiguity to achieve objectives, so you must be comfortable with that. As such you will be expected to take initiative and display strong communication and time-management skills to facilitate meetings that ensure teams and stakeholders are aligned on the outcomes.

What you do 

• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.  Understand how technology can support business goals
• Identify problems within the business, including using data modelling techniques, constructing workflow diagrams, studying system capabilities, writing specifications

• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability
• Work with the SME’s to understand the Customer Management experience and journeys end-to-end
• Strong experience in Salesforce implementations and acting as the SME for Salesforce
• Knowledge of compliance, regulations and customer onboarding processes
• Experience working with Salesforce development teams, either internal teams or 3rd party implementation partners

Nine.com.au, Australia’s largest news, sport and entertainment network, is looking for a Senior Digital Producer to help drive the digital output for 9Entertainment. 

The Senior Entertainment Producer is based out of Sydney, working in the digital team alongside the digital news, lifestyle, video and social media teams. The role includes finding breaking stories, generating original story ideas, content planning, research, and writing and curating content for the site. Sourcing images, video and other attributes needed for on-site and in social media.

Day to day you will:

• Write and produce content that supports our editorial strategy for Channel Nine’s official TV show websites
• Write and produce content that editorially supports our partners 9Now and Stan
• Assist the editors with content planning, taking the lead on some of our biggest shows and delegating work to other team members
• Conduct interviews with talent relating to our shows
• Manage and curate official TV show websites as required during night shifts on a rotation, working with homepage editors to ensure the best reach possible for our stories
• Pitch stories in line with our editorial strategy that our audience will love
