Our Role We are looking for a Fixed Plant Operator to join our hardworking team at our Galong Plant (342 Eubindal Rd, Galong, NSW). The plant is a short drive from Yass, Young and Harden. Fixed Plant Operators are responsible for monitoring, controlling, and reporting the rates of feed to the kiln, temperatures, coal usage and quality, and combustion air volumes in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with company policies, procedure and guidelines. Fixed Plant Operators conduct the activities that enable us to extract limestone and process it into various products ready for sale to our customers. This position pays $65,500 to $66,500 per annum. Responsibilities: Successfully operate the kiln to produce lime by products (limestone, quicklime, and hydrated lime) using calcining, slaking and carbonation processes. Transfer and store finish product to avoid contamination. Run coarse coal though mill to feed pulverised coal to kiln for combustion. Maintain combustion efficiency to balance combustion, energy and product quality and reduce fuel wastage. Understand and undertake the sequence of operations for kiln Burner Management System. Keep informed on local agency or governing body requirements regarding kiln emissions to keep the plant within permitted limits. About You

PhD (or submitted for final review) in the marketing (or relevant) discipline.

Evidence of high-quality university teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in one or more areas of Marketing: advertising, branding, consumer behaviour, market and consumer research, digital marketing, social marketing, services marketing, quantitative marketing, business analytics.

Evidence of scholarship of teaching, including education research, and teaching innovations.

Well-developed communication, interpersonal and consultative skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in teaching and learning

Evidence of value-adding service roles in a university setting.

A profile of professional expertise that complements and/or supplements the expertise that currently exists within the School and the broader University.

Desirable

Experience with facilitation and administration of flipped classroom courses.
