• Correctly utilise tempil sticks and/or infrared thermometer to determine preheat temperatures have been achieved as required by the applicable welding procedures.
• Safely use oxy / acetylene gas torches to perform preheat / maintain temperature on base materials in preparation for welding.
• Safely and correctly set up and use rotating equipment to facilitate weld runs on cylindrical components.
• Correctly perform MIG, stick or Flux Core welding in accordance with OEM, customer and/or Gulf specifications / weld procedures.
