About the Role (your why)

The M365 Consultant plays a key role as a professional services team member of our Microsoft 365 Centre of Excellence. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, building and supporting solutions end to end for our customers. You will troubleshoot technical issues for customers. You will be accountable for delivering a first-class experience for consumers of our Intelligent Workplace services. You will be responsible for providing guidance, advisory and project delivery to customers using best practice and modern technology approaches. What you'll do

At the moment, as M365 Consultant you will be focused on:

• Analyse business requirements developing project documentation including solution designs documents, recommendation reports and systems as-built.
• Facilitate customer workshops and presentations providing thought leadership.
• Provide technical leadership for customers Microsoft 365 environments and solutions.
• Build and deploy solutions within Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Lead and execute Microsoft 365 migration projects. Migrating information from legacy systems into SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Facilitate training workshops. Develop training materials.
• Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (EG: Change/release)
• Provide governance and support to customers Microsoft 365 environments.

What you’ll bring:

Required experience:

• Previous experience in an ICT Professional Services organisation as a Microsoft 365 Consultant.
• Experience designing, building and deploying SharePoint Online, MS Teams and Power Platform solutions.
• Experience migrating content into Microsoft 365.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Experience running workshops.
• Ability to address complex business problems with M365 based solutions.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise information architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing Power Automate workflows and Power Apps.

Key accountabilities

• Works with SME’s to implement, track and report on security controls. Manage the risk assessment framework, and assurance program that align to regulatory requirements, ensuring documented and sustainable compliance that aligns and advances customer’s objectives and supports an uplift in security maturity.

• Evaluates security risks and controls, and develops security standards and procedures, to manage risks. Improves customer’s security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and the continuous evolution of capabilities.

• Implements processes, such as GRC (governance, risk and compliance), to automate and continuously monitor information security controls, exceptions, risks, testing. Develops reporting metrics, dashboards, and evidence artifacts. IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist

• Defines and documents business process responsibilities and ownership of the controls in GRC tool. Schedules regular assessments and testing of effectiveness and efficiency of controls and creates GRC reports.

• Updates security controls and provides support and advice to all stakeholders on security controls covering internal assessments, regulations, protecting Personally Identifying Information (PII) data, and other relevant compliance requirements.

• Performs and investigates internal and external information security risk and exceptions assessments. Handle Incident playbooks, penetration testing, phishing, and social engineering campaigns and awareness training.

• Performs and maintains Risk Assessments, Third-party Risk Assessments. Maintains the IT Risk register and reports IT Security risks to management.

• Documents and reports control failures and gaps to management. Provides remediation guidance and prepares management reports to track remediation activities. • Assists other staff in the management and oversight of security program functions.

• Trains, guides, and acts as a resource on security assessment functions to other business units within customer.

• Proactively develop, maintain and effectively manage constructive working relationships with internal teams, delivery partners and key external agencies.

• Remains current on best practices and technological advancements and acts as the customer’s technical resource for security assessment and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Experience

1+ years of relevant experience in implementing, managing, reviewing and improving internal security controls for governance, compliance and quality, IT audits, or assurance and risk management programs. Track record of performing internal or external audits (financial/operational/IT) in accordance with relevant professional standards. Demonstrated ability to work with and report to a governance board (i.e. audit committee or similar). Highly proficient in audit methodologies, especially but not limited to those applicable in IT environments. Highly skilled in designing and implementing compliance and control frameworks including business process reengineering. Expert in IT governance and quality and security standards. Experience writing high quality documentation and reports. Excellent comprehension of internal controls requirements and implications. Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural and diverse environments.

• Liaise with external unit registry stakeholders to deal with all escalations including dealing directly with clients where required.
• Monitor the "Client" inbox and customer service phone line to ensure timely responses to all enquiries.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly tasks i.e., daily prices, weekly sales update, monthly reporting, and quarterly flows.
• Reviewing, preparing, and approving the platform rebate calculations, management fee rebates and external distribution partner fee calculations.
• Effectively manage risks associated with your role, responsibilities, and broader business environment. This includes adhering to all to external regulations and guidelines, and internal policies, procedures, codes, and guidelines.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in managed fund registry operations and/or client services in Australia is essential. Experience within an investment firm is preferred however not required.
• Experience in managing AML, CRS and similar KYC documentation is an advantage, along with other AML experience.
• Investment product knowledge in provision of client reporting relating to funds, SRS reporting, researcher and MDS reporting requirements is useful.
• Relevant higher education qualification within financial services or related field.
• Given the boutique but global nature of our business and client base, this role will require, at times, flexibility of working outside of standard hours.
• Strong decision-making skill set based upon a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgement.
• Ability to identify matters for escalation, and identification and handling of errors and complaints.
• Strong technical ability across all Microsoft platforms such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
