The Opportunity.
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Fielders business in our Osborne Park WA team as a Branch Supervisor. With a proud history starting in Adelaide, today Fielders manufactures and markets steel building products across Australia. We deliver customer-inspired outcomes that support architects, engineers, builders, installers and property owners in creating their vision.
This is a diverse role that will offer you variety each day, working face to face with our customers and supporting retail and warehouse functions. You will be provided training and given scope to showcase your skills in customer service and warehouse operations as you develop your career with an iconic Australian company.
We are looking for a self-motivated and quick thinker, who can adapt and coordinate multiple priorities at any given time.
This is a Monday to Friday role, working a 38-hour week within the trading hours of 7:00am to 4:00pm.
What Will You Do?
You will start your day by ensuring that our customers expectations are met in a timely and efficient manner. To achieve this, you will supervise a small team and provide hands-on support by:
- scheduling the teams’ hours to ensure suitable staff cover throughout the trading day
- attending to customers who visit the branch and addressing incoming inquiries
- managing customer orders by interacting with internal stakeholders to ensure we can meet our customer’s expectations
- follow up on quotations and inquiries to identify new sales opportunities
- providing timely communication to customers and internal stakeholders
- ensuring all processes are conducted safely by following the company’s safety practices
You will also provide support to the warehouse team, which may include unloading our incoming deliveries and loading customers’ vehicles in a safe manner.

In addition, you will have:
- experience in supervising a small team
- effective relationship management and influencing capability.
- strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- computer competency with ability to learn the companies ERP system.
- experience in a warehouse or stores environment with a current Forklift Ticket preferable, or willingness to obtain Forklift Ticket.
- a strong commitment to safety and the wellbeing and care for others
- experience of building materials retail is advantageous
