The Role

Partner with and support a portfolio of business areas to strengthen and continuously improve
the management of risk, and build risk and compliance capability throughout the organisation.
The portfolio for this role includes, among other things, the ALH hotels business, which has a
unique risk profile that includes both regulatory compliance risk and operational risk. Working
within the growing Risk and Compliance function (Line 2), you will have the opportunity to work
on risk management activities across the Endeavour business, with a diverse range of business
stakeholders including our Executive Leadership, and build a strong understanding of our
business, purpose and strategy, whilst applying your risk expertise to support and enable our
business to live its purpose and grow. In this role and team you will have an opportunity to drive
innovation (i.e. new ways of approaching risk/compliance management) and real change that
delivers a meaningful impact to our team, our customers and the communities we operate in.

Support risk management across the business by continuing to embed risk management into our culture and day to day operations: risk identification, risk assessment/analysis, process flow and controls assessment, documentation and reporting - this will be done working closely with senior risk colleagues and partnering with business stakeholders, and will include facilitating risk discussions and workshop sessions throughout the organization, encompassing operational, managerial, and executive levels.

• Proactively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of risk management, compliance and assurance frameworks, strategies and methodologies in conjunction with the wider Risk & Compliance team.
• Support the ongoing embedding of risk management into our culture and ways of working, including identifying new and innovative ways of approaching risk management tailored to the  business audience.
• Preparation of reporting on risk and risk management activities for stakeholders, including Board and Executive management.
• Business partnering - become the go-to leader of risk management for your portfolio of Endeavour’s business e.g. ALH hotels. You will sit alongside the leadership teams for these business areas to support their risk management strategies and enable risk capability uplift across their teams at operational, managerial, and executive levels.
• Proactively build effective relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of the business strategy.
• Apply your risk/compliance knowledge and experience (and influencing skills) to build risk and compliance awareness, engagement and understanding across the business at all levels of the organisation; and look for opportunities to enhance, operationalise and embed risk/compliance management.
• Actively contribute to the continued growth and development of the Risk & Compliance team and their key deliverables.
• Build strong working relationships with team members and work to ensure risk management activities are consistent across internal stakeholder groups where possible.
• Share best practice approaches and ways of working across the team to help fast track the embedding of risk management and the uplift in risk management capabilities across the business.
• Contribute to the improvement and further development of risk, compliance and assurance policies, frameworks and procedures, and the methods for communicating and embedding those frameworks across the business.

About the role :

Reporting to the Reef Operations Manger, the Assistant Manager works closely with the Chef and Hosts in managing the daily operations of Reefworld and Heart pontoons, to assist the Reef Operations Master in managing all compliance and pontoon maintenance, leadership and management of crew and ensuring guests are provided with exceptional service.

The Assistant Pontoon Manager provides leadership and direction to the Pontoon crew to deliver our services and experiences safely. Ensuring that we stay true to our mission of ‘Create Amazing Experiences’ with each and every customer interaction.

The general work areas of this position are the Reefworld and Heart Pontoons, both of which are permanently moored 39 nautical miles offshore on the outer Great Barrier Reef.

About the role

This role revolves around people and has two main parts. First, you will be responsible for the office environment in our Brisbane branch, driving employee engagement and being an ambassador of the First Focus values! And then you will support people managers across our national business, assisting with coordination in areas such as compliance, performance management and training.

Grader Operation:

• Operating and maintaining graders to ensure roads and other property infrastructure are safe and accessible
• Conducting road grading and repairs, focusing on drainage, seasonal durability, and usability

Maintenance Oversight:

• Performing routine servicing and minor repairs on vehicles, machinery, and equipment

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Reservations team as a Reservations Consultant

This is a permanent full-time position based on Hamilton Island. Reporting to the Customer Service & Sales Manager, the Reservations Consultant will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with enquiries and booking their ideal experiences.

This role is based at Hamilton Island Marina and will require you to live on Hamilton Island or commute each day from the main land.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Keep up to date with all Cruise Whitsundays products, timetables, promotions
• The accurate input/management of email, phone, web chat and direct bookings into
• Custom Linc
• Correctly processing booking payments and correctly finalising EOD cash ups
• Checking and finalising QA bookings including applying promotions
• Accurately booking third party providers
• Stay up to date Reservations Policies and Procedures

• Collect and provide catering information
• Service the Retail Store and upsell merchandise

About You

You have a passion for the Tourism Industry with a real commitment to delivering the best standards of customer service. You are self-motivated, competent, adaptable with an eye for detail and demonstrate exceptional administration and sales skills.

What you’ll bring...
