We are currently looking for Data Centre Technicians to join the facilities team which operates on a 24/7 basis.

Based in our P2 facility in Perth, the purpose of this role is to support the Facility Management team with the day-to-day operations of the data centre by providing high quality & efficient technical maintenance and customer service.

The successful candidate will be required to work a 4 – 5 – 5 rotating shift roster with day shifts from 7am - 7pm and night shifts from 7pm - 7am.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Delivery of cabling needs, electrical and data, to customer racks and areas
• Attend to remote Hands Request
• Assist with the maintenance of all core electrical and mechanical systems
• Ensure that facility problems are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
• Manual handling

From time to time, during shifts there may be travel between sites as required.

About the Role

We are looking for Vessel Masters to join our team at Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures for our 2024 season. As a Vessel Master, you will be responsible for the safe operations of the vessel along with providing a memorable and enjoyable experience for every guest. You will be responsible for the overall safety and compliance, record keeping and logs, onboard maintenance, vessel presentation and the management of crew onboard.

About You

You will be a great fit in this role if you have:

• AMSA issued Coxswain ticket (with no restrictions) as a minimum, Master <24m highly desirable
• AMSA Marine Engine Driver 2 highly desirable
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Prior experience operating vessels in a tourism environment or experience operating vessels in the Kimberley (desirable)
• A passion for marine tourism and ensuring that guests receive an incredible experience
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• A proative, solutions focused mindset able to problem solve effectively while keeping safety at the forefront of everything that you do
• The ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

In this newly created position, you will play a key role in coordinating the operations of conferences, events, weddings and social functions. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from planning and coordination to execution, ensuring effective communication both internally and externally. 

While this role will primarily centre around managing conferences and events at Oaks Perth Hotel initially, it presents the exciting prospect of expanding to offer support to Minor Hotels other properties across WA in future, offering extensive opportunities for career advancement. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Strengthen engagement with existing MICE partners for Oaks Perth Hotel
• Actively seek out new business opportunities that will contribute to increased account production for MICE at Oaks Perth Hotel
• Implementing strategies to drive occupancy and maximise revenue, ensuring maximum revenue in accordance with the conference marketing and strategy plan
• Maintain awareness of market rates for events and conference packages, ensuring the packages are competitive
• Organise and coordinate weddings, events, conferences, functions and groups, providing exceptional customer service at all times 
• Coordinate with Food and Beverage operations, ensuring a seamless level of service for all events 
• Liaise with vendors on event related matters, acting as the primary point of contact 
• Work closely with wider sales team to maximise opportunities, ensuring the appropriate Account Manager is including in correspondence and updated throughout the quoting process
• Attend local trade events to increase brand awareness of Minor Hotels

About the Internship

The eight-week paid Radio Internship Program is an ideal opportunity for the next generation of Australia's diverse radio talent to build their skills and get real-world experience under their belt.  We're seeking passionate and ambitious individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience across our various radio departments.

Across the eight weeks, no two days will look the same, giving you a broad hands-on feel for what it’s like to work within our Radio station! You will primarily have exposure working with our program teams, helping producers and presenters research stories, pursue interviews and vet calls for broadcast. You will work with the digital team , pulling together on-air content for our website and social media accounts. In the newsroom, you’ll be working with journalists to understand how they generate, write and present live and recorded bulletins and accompany them on the road to press conferences. You will truly gain a comprehensive understanding of what it’s like to work within our Radio station. 

Based out of East Perth, the internship program is managed by our Radio Station / Content Manager and you will be buddied up with a mentor for each of your rotations.
