About the Role
We are looking for Vessel Masters to join our team at Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures for our 2024 season. As a Vessel Master, you will be responsible for the safe operations of the vessel along with providing a memorable and enjoyable experience for every guest. You will be responsible for the overall safety and compliance, record keeping and logs, onboard maintenance, vessel presentation and the management of crew onboard.
About You
You will be a great fit in this role if you have:
- AMSA issued Coxswain ticket (with no restrictions) as a minimum, Master <24m highly desirable
- AMSA Marine Engine Driver 2 highly desirable
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Prior experience operating vessels in a tourism environment or experience operating vessels in the Kimberley (desirable)
- A passion for marine tourism and ensuring that guests receive an incredible experience
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- A proative, solutions focused mindset able to problem solve effectively while keeping safety at the forefront of everything that you do
- The ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
