This position will support Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) Government Solutions in their joint department of defense program in Alice Springs, Australia.  The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below:

International SOS is looking for an individual who is experienced as General Practitioner committed to providing high-quality healthcare and improving the well-being of patients across a diverse population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides medical services comparable to such services and coverage as provided by the USG Facility Medical Officer (FMO) during clinic hours of operation and "after hours" coverage, as necessary.
• Obtain health history and perform physical examinations.
• Diagnose and direct counseling for each patient on a plan for treatment.
• Prescribe medication in accordance with state statute and professional practice guidelines.
• Maintains a problem-oriented health record for each patient seen in accordance with established Health Information Management policies and procedures.
• Assures continuity of care by providing comprehensive medical services on a timely basis.
• Provides excellent internal/external customer service to assist patients with their health care needs.
• Arrange referrals for patients requiring services not offered on-site.
• Review incoming reports (e.g. lab, x-ray, EKG) sign, date and follow-up in a timely manner.
• Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested.
• Assist in outside medical public relations functions.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to the latest medical advancements.

International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Senior Registered Nurse dedicated to providing top-quality care and support for patients.  The candidate will possess a solid clinical background and a commitment to excellence who excels at assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and coordinating care in a dynamic high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Directs the administrative needs of the clinics.
• Liaises with Government Contract Officer Technical Representative (COTR) in the administration of the medical clinics.
• Apply knowledge of professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques to patient care.
• Utilize experience and compassion with advanced clinical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
• Make accurate quick, informed decisions in fast-paced environments, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Possess a deep understanding of healthcare protocols, patient assessment, and care planning.
• Skilfully manage complex cases.
• Precept and mentoring junior staff with knowledge of training and teaching methods.
• Demonstrates sufficient interpersonal skills to develop a rapport with patients and co-workers.
• Utilizes practical knowledge of laboratory procedures and guidelines; skill in collecting a variety of samples.
• Performs professional routine, urgent, and emergency care.
• Triages and provides medical advice to patients within the scope of practice.

International SOS is looking for an individual who is experienced as a Medical Technician to work as a vital part of the interdisciplinary team performing diagnostic tests, operating medical equipment, and ensuring accurate results for patient care.  They work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide essential support in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provides first aid, emergency medical services, health examinations, or nursing services to employees.
• Interacts with injury management, workers compensation, and outside compensation providers.
• Gives information to employees in health education and illness prevention.
• Prepares, maintains, records, accident reports, and statistical data associated with incidents, health history, and injuries occurring at worksite.
• Maintains inventory of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) equipment and first aid supplies.
• Assists in performing drug and alcohol testing at worksite.
• Overseeing other health issues such as drinking water, food preparations, and safety of living areas.
• Performs duties by following established procedures.
• Provides healthcare to employees at certain locations.
• Exercises judgment within generally defined procedures and current regulations in selecting methods and techniques for treatment.
• Has a knowledge of techniques used in the medical field in support of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE).
• Provides technical proficiency and a compassionate approach to patient interactions, supporting healthcare providers in delivering exceptional care.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Works effectively in dynamic environments.
