Tristar Industries is an innovative Australian owned manufacturer of door opening side Tipping Semi-Trailers, Water and Fuel Tanks, Flat Tops, Low Loaders, Dollies, Step Decks, Cattle Crates and other Transport, Mining and Heavy Earth-Moving related equipment
We are seeking experienced Machinists to work in our Northern Territory workshop based in Pinelands.
To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:
Able to interpret technical/engineering drawings and verbal and written instructions.
Use handheld tools and power tools to make and repair parts and products.
Identify any defective items and handle accordingly to established procedures.
Service and maintain the equipment in the machine shop to a high standard, including regular pre-start inspections and housekeeping.
Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Ability to work with minimal supervision (ability to work autonomously beneficial)
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members.
Strong problem-solving skills
Positive, solution focussed attitude.
Machine pins, spacers, bushes, hydraulic rams to repair.
Strip and repair a hydraulic cylinder, including machining new components to replace damaged parts.
Fabricate special tools to assist in the repair of plant and machinery.
Be responsible for individual health and safety and demonstrate understanding and comply with Tristar Industries HSEQ standards and procedures.
A minimum of 3 years industry experience
