About the role
Due to a sharp increase in new high-end Print Production products, we are looking to fill a Field Service Technician position to join our NSW Print Production team, providing outstanding service and support to our valuable customer base.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and support of Colour and B&W print equipment and ancillary products with associated software & services solutions.

As a member of the NSW Service Team, you will ensure customer satisfaction through on-site Corrective and Preventative maintenance on customer equipment. This role works within a team of dedicated technicians and reports directly to the Service Delivery Manager.

Previous experience in the Print Production industry is highly desirable and will be looked upon favourably, although not essential for the right candidate in a similar industry looking to start their career in a hands-on technical role with fantastic learning and development opportunities.

To be qualified for this position, ideally, your background and skills will comprise of the following:

• Your strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and professional approach, as well as a positive attitude in dealing with customers, are essential attributes for this role.

About the Role

Joining us in our Project and Resource Officer role, you will be the critical interface between Facility Management and project delivery teams; covering project handovers to be successful and not disrupt facility operation.

You will be responsible for ensuring all upcoming & live project works within a Facility are planned, implemented, and handed over with Operational considerations and approvals clearly captured and processed.

This role is a 12-month full time fixed term (Located in Macquarie Park)

In this role you’ll see yourself: 

• Proactively partnering with the Facility Management, Capital Works Development teams, Principal Contractor, and sub-contractors to define interface requirements, timeframes, notification periods and other relevant co-ordination aspects. 
• Co-ordinating access and site inductions, reviewing contractor presented documentation, isolation management, pre-start meetings and oversight of works. 
• Assisting with testing and commissioning activities as a Facility Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing operational risks associated with operational equipment and services. 
• Managing the handover of new equipment, ensuring a smooth transition, including all relevant documentation, training, commissioning, and other handover requirements are executed. 
• Managing defect identification and closure process rectification within the project, prior to handover to ensure facility quality standards are met. 
• Ensuring project delivery teams adhere to Facility Management processes.
