• Lead, manage and promote people management practices to achieve success through excellent stakeholder relationships and continuous service improvement activities for the region including, but not limited to: 

• coordinate, develop and implement HR solutions that address key workforce challenges.  

• use HR knowledge to shape both strategic and operational advice to meet business needs.  

• proactively develop and sustain relationships across the business to ensure comprehensive understanding of opportunities and challenges faced and people management development opportunities. 

• support business units with succession planning.  

• develop and lead best practice across end-to-end employee life cycle. 

• policy development and documentation. 

• reward & recognition strategies.  

• drive retention strategies through strategic human resources business partner relationships. 

• ensure appropriate communication at all levels. 

• Lead and guide manager in the resolution of performance and employee relations matters.

• Be the “voice of the program” for internal and external users
• Build trusted relationships with the local Sydney and APAC teams and partners.
• Support in driving adoption and socialization of the ServiceNow Partner Program, strategy and four modules
• Support internal and external Partner Program awareness and understanding
• Build internal awareness and understanding with partner management, field teams, technical teams, partner operations and enablement teams to ensure program adoption and understanding
• Build external awareness and understanding with existing and new partners to ensure program adoption and understanding of partner journey and steps to build a partnership
• Help track and enhance KPIs and success metrics of partner programs and report program and partner success
• · Drive program adoption, partner success with internal and external users
• · Collecting internal and external teams for needed program enhancements and capabilities and feed into the Program Module Owners
• · Creating/updating program presentations and messaging for internal and external consumption

You can be based in either Port Kembla NSW or Mascot NSW with hybrid working arrangements on offer.  

What Will You Do?

Reporting to the Talent Lead, you will join an established and collaborative Talent Team who collectively manage all recruitment for BlueScope across Australia. Be a trusted advisor to the business and our People team as you work across your portfolio to manage the whole recruitment lifecycle.

As a Talent Partner you will:

• partner with the business to understand talent needs now and for the future
• manage end to end technical recruitment
• create innovative recruitment campaigns to generate talent pools, including social media advertising
• identify and deliver best practice talent solutions including the use of online assessment tools and video interviewing
• be a champion of Our Purpose and employee brand by ensuring an exceptional candidate experience

More About You

Preference would be hands on experience recruiting technical talent from an onsite role (RPO or corporate) or you have agency experience recruiting technical staff and are considering an opportunity to step in-house to continue your career journey.

You will have:

• knowledge of technical recruitment and talent assessment frameworks
• a focus on candidate and employee engagement and experience
• exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
• understanding of different sourcing and attraction methods
• strong attention to detail to ensure data is maintained well in our ATS (SmartRecruiters)
