Great Southern Hotel has a rare, yet exciting opportunity available for an experienced Hotel Duty Manager at this popular Sydney City venue. JDA Hotels venues boast sophisticated, yet highly modern and stylish designs and include a range of exceptional quality food, beverages and entertainment activities. Skills and experience
JDA Hotels are looking for a highly experienced Hotel Duty Manager. The successful candidate will have the following:
Bachelor or Diploma Level Qualification
Proficiency in both food and beverage management in a high calibre hotel venue with minimum four (4) years' experience, is essential.
Strong understanding of gaming and TAB facilities.
Maintaining a high standard of service to all patrons, while ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Ensure smooth running of hotel operations at all times.
Complete all cash reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner.
Proactively manage all staff by providing clear and consistent direction, ensuring that high standards are adhered to at all times, as well as promoting a harmonious team environment.
A candidate with experience in successfully managing events and implementing successful marketing ideas would be looked upon favourably.
Be willing to take responsibility and accountability.
Ability to motivate, mentor and train staff.
The right candidates must have excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus, as well as be professionally presented and groomed at all times.
Committed, trustworthy and responsible individuals are what we are looking for. The candidates must be flexible and available to work nights, weekends, public holidays, when rostering demands this
