The People Systems Specialist assists in maintaining the appropriateness and effectiveness of Montu’s HRIS, supporting effective data management, smooth HR operations, improved impact for downstream teams, and internal education and change management. The People Systems Specialist will be the system lead and Subject Matter Expert (“SME”) for our talent acquisition system, Smart Recruiters. This role is responsible for the improvement and management of this system including project scoping, planning (including identifying cross-system and team implications of change), stakeholder management, creation and execution of test cases, and the creation and communication of good supporting collateral for users. This role supports both Australian and International users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Systems Management - SME
  • Serve as a system administrator, SME and technical lead for our Talent Acquisition tool (SmartRecruiters, “SR”).
  • Improve the efficiency and automation, and suitability of SR, maintaining an expert knowledge in the system’s capabilities, limitations, product roadmap and releases.
  • Design, execute and test system changes in SR, including effective project management, stakeholder engagement, up and downstream impacts, user behaviour changes, and asset updating..
  • Ensure SR documentation is accurately maintained, including system dependencies, network maps, field/setup requirements, templates etc
  • Ensure appropriate controls are designed and implemented to maintain the security and effective management of SR, including reviewing security and admin profiles for local and international users.
  • Help build and maintain resources for employees, managers, and the People team to promote self-service use of people systems
  • Perform routine audits SR to ensure all information and setup is up to date
• Systems Management - other HRIS 
  • Have a good working understanding of other HRIS tools used, and be able to support BAU and general administration and support. Tools include our core HRIS (HiBob), and enablement platform (15Five).
  • As required (eg, work overflow, team absences etc)
  • Process changes for employees and people leaders and manage workflow tasks in other tools
  • Manage access for portals and system access used in the People team
  • Provide support with management of the systems
• People Systems BAU
  • Respond to general queries and requests for support from internal stakeholders
  • Generate reports as required
  • Participate in other People Systems projects and activities as required
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the People Team Handbook and HR Wiki collection, ensuring up-to-date documentation of workflows, processes, and available operational templates
  • Contribute to HR continuous improvement projects and work

We are looking for a Service Operations Specialist to join our growing Enterprise Technology Services team.

This role will support the strategic direction of service delivery by providing Service Operations Support for Cuscal’s mission critical systems and customers.

This includes managing incidents end to end until resolution, assisting incident managers during major incidents, monitoring, and supporting Cuscal systems, effectively communicating to our customers and troubleshooting to restore services within SLA.

In this role you will be responsible for the following;

• Monitoring all defined IT systems / consoles ensuring that they function as per business requirements.
• Responding to system events or faults and take appropriate action when systems fail or suffer degradation in performance.
• Responding to customer Incident, Service and Change requests within predefined SLAs.
• Executing all processes accurately as per the Service Operations procedures and manage any deviations or exceptions via escalation.
• Coordinating the management of incidents and ensure timely escalation of a major incidents to an incident manager.
• Identifying and implement Service Improvements (CSI)
• Logging and updating all Incidents/Service/Change requests into Cuscal Ticketing system with the correct detail.
• Triaging all Incidents / Service requests aiming for fixed on first resolution.
• Engaging and collaborating with 2nd/3rd level support teams for further investigation.
• Ensuring quality documentation of Service Operations procedures and run sheet tasks.

This is a 24/7, rostered shift-work role that will include weekends and night shift. 

• Full-time or part-time (4 days) position until 30 June 2025 

• Flexible working arrangements across multiple locations, including the Kingston office, community outreach on the lands of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri Peoples, and the option to work from home.

• No billable hours

• A tertiary qualification in Early Childhood/ Education

• Expert knowledge in child development and early intervention along with the ability to identify developmental issues. 

• Proven track record building relationships and supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including the implementation of effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings. 

• Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme
