As a member of the Safer Gambling team, you will play a key role in monitoring and ensuring the well-being of our customers by analyzing their transactions and account behaviour to identify potential indicators of problematic gambling. Your primary responsibility will be to detect early warning signs of risky behaviour, intervene when necessary, and provide support to those customers who may be experiencing difficulties with gambling.

In addition to your core duties of analysis and intervention, you will have the opportunity to work closely with customers who exhibit concerning behaviour, offering guidance and assistance to help them make informed decisions and take the necessary steps toward safer gambling practices. This may involve educating customers on available tools and resources, such as self-exclusion or deposit limits, to help them maintain control over their gambling activity.

The Administration Officer within the Student Academy of Excellence is responsible for providing administrative assistance and support to the day-to-day operations of the Academy including the recruitment, engagement and development of Academy students.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Provide general administrative and project support including record management, managing the flow of information, maintaining and reviewing administrative processes and making suggestions for improvement.

This is an 18-month fixed-term position based at Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other campus locations. 

HEW level 5 salary range $ 77,761 - $87,235 plus 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $90,980 - $102,064.

About You
An experienced administrator, with an eye for detail and strong communication skills. You will have strong technical expertise with a proven ability to quickly become proficient in new systems. Experience in project/research support will be beneficial.
