Are you a talented system administrator or support analyst looking for an exciting new role in Melbourne in Leidos Australia’s Intelligence business line? Our exciting classified programs at Leidos develop and support our Federal Government customers IT systems, including mission critical classified system. We have multiple opportunities to join our exciting multi-year program to deliver and support an enterprise Case Management System.

In this role you will provide Level 2 and Level 3 ITSM support for mission system applications. You will work in a small support team providing technical support and troubleshooting of technical issues and ensure continued operation of services. You’ll interact with the Leidos developers who are updating the application, the security operations team, client system owners, 3rd party product vendors and of course, end users. Other duties include:

• Level 2 and Level 3 System monitoring, technical support and reporting, including ongoing process improvements to enhance operational availability and reliability
• Completing incident ownership including triage, investigation, resolution, escalations and post incident follow up
• Performing root-cause analysis of application related issues and recommend solutions, liaising with other ITSM teams and end users as required
• Creating and maintaining system and operational documentation, including the creation and maintenance of Knowledge Based Articles for the Level 1 Help Desk and Level 2 Client Business Support
• Participation in a team on-call roster and management of priority incidents and problems with in contractual KPI’s.
• Engaging with the development team to identify new features and enhancements, and prepare for new application patches

Due to the nature of work we do for our customers, all applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a NV1 security clearance and be capable of upgrading to a PV security clearance.

As a Business Analyst within the Claims environment, you will provide strategic business analysis services that are critical to our success. Your primary focus will be to collaborate closely with stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of our processes, services, and the broader context in which the Claims business operates. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving regulatory and strategic business initiatives within Claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis Excellence: Conduct detailed analyses to identify challenges, opportunities, and solutions that enhance our business.
• Project Leadership: Lead small to medium-sized projects, and support the Process Improvement and Automation Manager on more complex initiatives related to the Claims Strategic Roadmap.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Utilize your strong stakeholder management skills to deliver comprehensive business analysis services that drive value across the Claims Business Unit.

This role is part of the Claims Effectiveness team and works closely with multiple business units and IT teams to ensure the successful delivery of project benefits.

The Commercial Products team manages a fleet of custom-built and off the shelf systems that perform critical functions for our Sales Operations, Traffic, Finance and Presentation teams, which make it possible for us to sell and traffic ads. In other words, our systems manage all revenue associated with broadcast today and progressively into digital.

Ideally you have worked with Salesforce over the last couple of years, have a focus on industry cloud solutions, and are comfortable working from implementation to adoption.

• User Management: Create, manage, and deactivate user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure data security and accessibility.

• Customisation: Customise Salesforce applications, including the creation of reports, dashboards, page layouts, and workflow automation.
• Data Management: Perform data imports, exports, backups, and cleansing to maintain high-quality data standards.
• Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to users, helping them to navigate the platform and utilise its features effectively.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and user procedures.
• Collaboration: Work with various departments to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and enhance the Salesforce platform to meet evolving business needs.
• Updates & Releases: Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features; assess their impact and implement necessary updates.

About the Job 

The Senior Analyst is part of the BI & Research stream of a broader Analytics & Research Team, supporting a spectrum of business stakeholders. The Senior Analyst provides insights into current and likely future behaviour of Rest’s members and employers by finding innovative connections through data mining, deep dive analysis, visualisation and data storytelling.

This role is embedded and will work day-to-day within a cross-functional Data and Insight product team.  Vision, roadmap and priorities for each team is set by a product owner.  Each team will contain the skills required to deliver working solutions to end-users (including, but not limited to, analysts, engineers, quality assurance, scrum master, etc).

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Designs, develops and implements analytical solutions to derive member insights as part of a cross-functional data and insights product team. As needed, this includes deployment of new analytical data models through sourcing, transforming and modelling necessary data.
• Works closely with business stakeholders to ensure analytical solutions meet needs, deliver insights and contribute to the development of business plans and strategies.
• Adheres to governance principles and guidelines, ensuring that solutions delivered are resilient, scalable, and consistent with Rest's existing framework and risk appetite.
• Performs in-depth analysis using SQL and other analytical tools (eg  Python, Github).
• Designs, builds and maintains Tableau dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision making and a self-serve analytic culture amongst stakeholders at Rest. Provides training and support in Tableau navigation, usage and interpretation to stakeholders as needed.
• Contributes to the development of the practice of insights, analytics and visualisation at Rest via a range of forums.

The Change Analyst will support the Change Manager in delivering end-to-end organisational change management across the Council. This role involves conducting change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and developing comprehensive change management plans to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of changes within the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Conduct change impact assessments to identify the effects of proposed changes on various business areas.
• Develop and document change management plans, including stakeholder engagement plans, communication strategies, and training materials.
• Assist in the creation and execution of change readiness assessments and adoption monitoring activities.
• Monitor and improve the performance of communication activities against strategic priorities and Transformation objectives, in line with best practice tools and techniques.
• Contribute to the development of high-level narratives, ensuring strong and consistent key messaging across all communications activities.
• Communication Planning: Collaborate with the Change Manager to develop and implement comprehensive communication plans for the program. Align communication strategies with change management objectives to ensure a synchronized approach. 
• Identify key stakeholders affected by change initiatives and develop strategies to gain their buy-in and support.
• Support the development and delivery of communication materials to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the change process.
• Identify and escalate risks and issues related to change initiatives that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
• Develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks and issues.
• Support the build of change management capability within the Council and mentoring and guiding other change subject matter experts.
• Contribute to the hands-on development of change products for the organisation, to build broad capability in undertaking change across our people.

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:

• Demonstrated experience as a Change Analyst or similar role, in a fast-paced business environment.
• Proficient in-service demand modelling, analysing impacts to services and formulating a clear understanding for the relevant stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse complex data sets and translate findings into actional insights.
• Well-developed facilitation and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Well-developed written communication skills to produce correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Proficient in facilitating workshops, opportunity exploration and issue resolution, understanding and processing user requirements and conducting analysis.

Required Certifications & Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG).
