About the role:

• At least 5 years of similar experience in the financial industry (consultation for candidates without experience available).

• Proven experience in winning awards such as President's Awards or achieving sales-related accolades.

• Previous experience at a consulting firm with the ability to share growth metrics or achievements for client accounts.

• Native Japanese speaker with fluent English communication skills.

• Experience with marketing research and analysis is preferred.

• Experience in customer service or client support is an advantage.

Sofitel Brisbane Central is looking for a professional and motivated Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for managing a diverse team of engineering tradespersons, handypersons and external contractors. This hands on role is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the team and reports to the Chief Engineer, providing support with the general operations of the department.

What you will be doing:

• Assist in leading a highly motivated engineering team including assigning daily tasks to ambassadors and managing numerous external contractors
• Set up and implement work request systems in all hotel areas
• Record daily plant and utility consumption readings, analyse consumption and report on findings
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on facilities, equipment and fire systems
• Play a key role in Work Health and Safety and sustainability including inspecting all areas of the property for safety issues and taking corrective actions.

You will be responsible for managing external and internal communications, media engagement (including publicity) and stakeholder relations across Nine's Broadcast businesses in Queensland.  

Day to day you will:

• Develop and execute communications and publicity strategies for Nine Network, Nine Radio, and Radio 4BC.
• Build strong relationships with media, identifying and maximising publicity opportunities.
• Write media releases and provide program information and images to media.
• Manage launches, photo shoots, talent appearances, and media interviews professionally.
• Coordinate with Network publicists, create new publicity avenues, and maintain databases.
• Promote safety and collaboration, ensuring open communication across the team.

The key responsibilities for the role (but not limited to) are: 

• Strong focus on MICE and Residential Events.
• Increase business from existing channels while creating new business development opportunities.
• Aid in the preparation of proposals and tenders to support the needs of the business.
