Key Responsibilities:

• Promptly respond to client inquiries with professionalism and care.
• Conduct engaging venue tours, showcasing our event spaces.
• Collaborate with clients to customize event packages, ensuring their needs are met.
• Foster strong client relationships to increase contract conversions and ensure repeat business.
• Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and curate engaging content for digital and social media platforms.
• Actively promote our accommodation, restaurant, bar, and event spaces to drive brand awareness and sales.
• Ensure a high level of customer service throughout the entire sales process.
• Coordinate event details across departments to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Elevate the brand’s presence and drive sales leads through strategic marketing initiatives.
• Respond to group booking inquiries promptly via email or phone.
• Cultivate high-value client relationships with proactive sales strategies.
• Maximize revenue opportunities in group reservations, conferences, and events.
• Assist in the implementation of the sales & marketing plan alongside the Marketing Manager.
• Conduct sales inspections and familiarization visits to promote the hotel's offerings.
• Represent the property at trade events and industry functions.
• Create and coordinate social media posts to enhance brand visibility.

The Guest Experience Executive (GEE) ensures an exceptional hotel experience by welcoming and assisting VIPs, loyal guests, and members of Accor programs, focusing on personalised service and special occasions. Acting as a key communication link with hotel management, the GEE coordinates guest preferences, requests, and stay details, supporting pre and post stay engagement. They also manage the Voice of the Guest platform, including sentiment analysis and responses, ensuring the Sofitel brand's luxury standards and guest journey expectations are met.

Our Assistant Managers are critical to delivering seamless service throughout the hotel. Some of the key responsibilities

• Leading the guest experience at check in and check out
• Proactively seeking feedback from guests and resolving any issues to a high satisfaction

As the Assistant Service Delivery Manager you will support in the management of our catering services across 4 camps by ensuring the highest quality work is maintained across all site services; ensuring consistency & resident satisfaction.

This is a FIFO role from Sydney or Brisbane; or Canberra DIDO to NSW Snowy Mountains, working on a 14/7 11hour day roster.  

Who are we looking for?  

You will have extensive large scale hospitality experience across various service operations; a comprehensive understanding of regulations, standards & procedures across HSEQ, Food Safety & hygiene and astute commercial acumen to allow you to make key operational decisions.

As the Assistant Service Delivery Manager you will be a skilled client facing communicator with proven people management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.  Key duties:

• Support in the management of high performing catering teams
• Support in the management of day-to-day operations across retail  (sales, inventory, customer service, marketing, and customer interactions) and catering/kitchen services
• Review of contractual performance, collect & review user satisfaction data
• Lead & support a diverse work force ensuring they understand role and can meet performance objectives
• Identify areas for improvement and utilise our systems, policies and procedures with a view towards improving the efficiency of village operations
• Support with rostering large teams and all associated personnel activities
• Support in the development of cost minimisation measures and monitoring of consumption of materials

You will have: 

• Solid understanding of HR processes
• Solid audit & investigation skills & financial reporting capability
• Strong people management skills and proven ability to build and support team cohesion
• Excellent computer, compliance and reporting skills

Report to the Resorts General Manager, you will consider yourself a confident and absolute 'all round' resort leader, as this varied role will see you, build and maintain successful relationships and a positive culture amongst the team to enhance guests and key stakeholders relationships.  You will provide a versatile approach in leadership and support and in all areas of park operations, from Food and Beverage and Events, to Housekeeping and daily operational leadership. 

What You’ll do

• Oversee the smooth running of park day to day operations
• Provide a versatile and hands-on approach in supporting your department heads to ensuring quality standards, effective communication and consistency across all areas of the resorts operation
• Ensure an amazing guest experience and continue to drive the customer journey
• Maintain appropriate levels of employees in all areas of Park operations and ensure the Resort is structured effectively in order to exceed guest service
• Focus on enhancing employee culture and retention
• Oversee and ensure a seamless operation in the Food and Beverage and conference/events space
• Support the General Manager to monitor and manage key business performance indicators
• Monitoring and maintaining a high standard of safety of all guests, visitors and employees
• Proven ability to manage and develop staff of all levels

What you’ll bring 

• You will be able to demonstrate experience in leading or overseeing teams and driving a positive team and guest focused culture
• You will have previous experience as an Operations Manager, Hotel/Resort or Assistant Park Manager, or Head of Department in a large property
• An ability to understand employment awards
• You will demonstrate a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of an operational team who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest service
• You walk the talk and can communicate to team members, guests and stakeholders of all levels.
• Previous experience in food and beverage, or events based related management is an absolute bonus
