With new restaurant openings contributing to 2-3% of the Australian business growth each year, our National Development Group (NDG) plays an integral role in finding, evaluating and acquiring freehold and leasehold properties across the nation. An exciting opportunity has become available for a self-motivated Development Manager to join our NSW/ACT Development team. Based out of our Thornleigh office and with a highly flexible working structure, this role would see you managing new store growth across the NSW/ACT markets.

What can you expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis?

• Using industry connections, real estate knowledge and experience to actively find new sites in NSW
• Assessing and evaluating the feasibility, suitability and potential of each site
• Presenting analysis and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team
• Operating as a subject matter expert to help stakeholders understand the strengths and risks of each potential site
• Negotiating deals, finalising documentation and pursuing authority approvals
• Engaging key stakeholders such as Franchisees, McOpCo (Company owned) leadership, vendors, landlords, Senior Leadership Team, corporate departments and National Development Group (NDG)
• Ensuring alignment and communication between all parties to keep projects on track and deliver on the wider NDG plan
• Presenting to (and participating in) NDG board meetings, liaising regularly with members

Purpose of your role

As a Consumer Client Manager you will complete the activation of private client profile registrations, remaining compliant with regulatory guidelines at all times and follow up with clients diligently to work towards both individual and group conversion targets. This includes providing a high level of customer assistance to help facilitate international payments, including pricing and the execution of foreign exchange transactions.

An outstanding Consumer Client Manager understands their client needs, articulates the OFX value proposition and uses relevant financial market insight to add value to their customers. You will be working in a fast-paced environment amongst a motivated team, ensuring consistent seamless transactions are delivered.

What you do

• Deliver unparalleled customer service at all times, using your excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
• Promote customer conversions by selling the benefits of OFX service compared to that of its competitors.
• Accurately price and book foreign exchange transactions, utilising skills of negotiation where necessary.
• Make relevant foreign exchange product recommendations to customers by recognising their needs.
• Be responsible for converting online registrations into new dealing clients within specific timeframes to deliver revenue opportunities – following up by phone or email as required to.
• Manage call and email volumes whilst delivering outcomes within restrictive timeframes.
• Accurately and comprehensively record all information obtained on phone calls.

Moving into our Customer Service Team Lead role you will provide day-to-day management for the Customer Service Team in their respective region and be a friendly and efficient first point of contact for all visitors to our facilities.

As our Customer Service Team Leader you will also act as the first escalation point for all matters relating to the team, facility, service requests and incident management to ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction are achieved. Championing this role, you will also be responsible for managing front of house relations across multiple sites.

Some of the tasks you’ll be responsible for:

• First-line people management across multiple sites – regular 1:1s, constructive feedback, identifying and resolving any performance issues, performance reviews, etc. 
• Manage last minute shift changes, sourcing solutions to cover unplanned leave  
• Ensuring adequate resourcing of staff, manage leave requests and design and manage the staff roster 
• Managing front of house across multiple sites 
• Acting as the first point of escalation for your team, providing efficient and effective resolution to issues  
• Continuous improvement reviews for processes and best practices.
