About the Role 

Alongside the Battery Energy Storage (BES) products Relectrify are building with our game-changing, patented CellSwitchTM technology, we are developing a suite of O&M (operations and maintenance) and related services. These service offerings will range from performance warranties and capacity assurance programs, to service contracts, to analytics and a user interface (UI) leveraging the wealth and quality of data our technology generates.

With a keen focus on meeting customer needs, but with solid technical capability, the successful candidate will create, define, deliver, and maintain these offerings and collaborate closely with Relectrify’s software engineering and data teams, and with third-party vendors to integrate aspects of the solutions.

Location: The position offers the flexibility of hybrid work between home and our city-fringe office location (between Southern Cross and North Melbourne stations). Some domestic and international travel may be required from time to time.

• the Product Manager for Battery Energy Storage products,

Who we’re looking for: The successful candidate will have experience in the renewable energy industry, possibly with an EMS, VPP or other software-focused business. They will have demonstrated experience bringing similar products and services to markets and making them successful.

What you’ll be doing: 

You will be creating, defining, delivering and maintaining the suite of O&M and related software and services for Relectrify customers, in close collaboration with Relectrify software and data engineering teams and with third parties. This will include:

• Integration of Relectrify technology with software platforms such as EMS, PPC, market participation & VPP systems 
• Relectrify's own customer UI
• Battery operation & performance analytics including leveraging Relectrify data for 
• Improved market bidding accuracy
• Improved safety performance (early prediction of anomalous cells and pre-emptive isolation) 
• Relectrify service agreements, performance warranties, energy-as-a-service & capacity assurance programs, and the related infrastructure to support these such as fault prediction & service planning tools.

Must-have experience: 

• Applicants must have full working rights in Australia and be willing to undergo pre-employment background checks (i.e. working rights, criminal history, and employment references). 

• Tertiary degree qualified, ideally of a technical nature. 

• Product Management experience in digital / online / data-related services products. 
• Experience with batteries, power electronics, renewable energy and related technologies and applications.

• Experience in growth-stage companies and experience shepherding disruptive technology products into established markets. 
• Existing relationships within the broader renewables/energy storage industry, especially in the area of EMS, VPP, power plant control, energy market bidding space.

Leadership largely resides in existing Engineers, Designers, and Leads.You will also find a very experienced technical CTO/CEO that facilitates this mindset and works on an equal footing with everyone, although naturally, with a commercial aspect to their role.

Company leadership listens closely and acts on the sentiment of both customers and technology whilst looking after business direction and commercial success.

How are things organised?

You will have three team leaders as direct reports with around 5 Engineers in turn reporting to them. One front end and two back end engineering teams. We are a lean shop that practises scrumban.

In addition our Geek4Geek will report to you. This person focuses on Kaizen, infrastructure, security, and compliance - they serve the overall engineering team and lend a hand where it is needed.

Engineers do this together with the guidance of team leads and the engineering manager. You’re empowered not only to step up to lead, but to also step up to follow: You won’t be forced to accept things the way they are, but you will need the insight and maturity to determine when best to have backbone, or when to disagree with and then commit to the team.

About the Role (your why)  

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead a team of service delivery management professionals. In this role you will be focused on developing and implementing strategy and business plans across your team and with the broader Datacom direction. The role will oversee daily business activities, including working alongside colleagues for sales and customer success adding value and improving overall business functions.

As our General Manager – Service Delivery Management, you will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver service excellence to our customers in commercially compliant and financially sustainable way. Using your strong influencing skills, you will support your team in driving continual service improvement for our customers across our matrix organisation, championing a security first approach in everything we do. With your in-depth experience of technology services outsourcing, you will be able to represent and advocate for our solutions and offerings in support of in account and new customer growth. You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and be able to support our people in all situations and help them in their career development journeys.

About the Role

An opportunity has become available for a results-driven and motivated sales professional to join our like-minded sales team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding set budgets by maintaining existing clients and building new business through our materials handling and warehouse solutions.

• Effectively manage a defined territory and client base.
