We currently have a 12-month maximum term contract opportunity for an experienced Iteration Manager Business Analyst (IMBA) to join our Technology team to facilitate, coordinate and deliver programs including delivering on business case objectives, business analysis, team velocity, project communication & reporting and change management. This role will work closely with all business stakeholders and report to the Technology Delivery Domain and will cover some day to day Operations support and escalation for Motoring systems.
This role will offer hybrid work arrangements with the flexibility to work from either our Sydney Olympic Park and/or Sydney CBD offices and from home. This role will require the ability to work 24 x 7 to support the Roadside team as and when required by the business or operation team.
Specifically your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage project initiation, analysis, planning, control, variation, measurement, reporting and closure
- Create the foundations and platforms required for BA / Business Owner collaboration and delivery team estimations on sound User Story capture/requirements
- Define and maintain a continuous improvement philosophy for your domain which support both technology and business strategy to drive simplicity, efficiency and exceptional customer experience.
- Liaise closely with the product owners and business stakeholders to assist in their completing the necessary steps for each projects success
- Examine unknown factors which define business problems. Perform system analyses on web services, software programs and applications. Integrate new systems and programs with business operations
- Resolve project escalated issues and project change management
- Prepare project documents whereby scope, objectives, risks, assumptions, resources level, roles and responsibilities, schedules and deliverables are identified and defined
- Collaboration and negotiation with technical and business stakeholders to achieve optimal delivery in terms of cost, speed-to-market and business outcomes
- Track project and delivery costs and report on project status to stakeholders, customers and project team as required
- Vendor management to ensure SLAs and contractual obligations are being met.
About You
- Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent)
- 3-5 years of demonstrated Business Analysis experience in successfully delivering Software Applications and associated Business Process changes
- Demonstrated solid understanding of business needs and customer focus beyond the technical/technology aspects
- Demonstrated IM & Business Analyst Skills and practices in an Agile and Waterfall environment
- Highly effective vendor management and facilitation skills with experience working with offshore teams
- Ability to capture User Stories/requirements, agree acceptance criteria and manage ambiguity
- Demonstrated experience in Agile estimation and driving delivery according to estimations
- A willingness to get involved at a detailed level when required
- Ability to work effectively during periods of high demand and tight timeframes
- Experience in negotiation, conflict management and facilitating resolution
- Proven experience in effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Highly developed estimation and project financial management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to easily develop new relationships with suppliers and colleagues and to influence and impact from front-line to GM-level
