We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager for a 6-month contract role (November 2024 - April 2025) to join one of our software squads. In this position, you will assist in managing bug fixes, feature flag processes, and general code maintenance projects. Your role will ensure the team efficiently addresses issues, implements new features, and maintains code quality.

This is a Sydney based role and 2 days (Monday + Thursdays) will be based in our new Sydney CBD office.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying, prioritising and managing bug fixes, ensuring timely resolution.

• Support the implementation and cleanup of feature flags, facilitating discussions on activation, testing, and cleanup processes.

• Track code maintenance and improvement projects.

• Facilitate daily stand-ups and sprint planning, ensuring that all team members are engaged and that meetings are focused on delivering results.

• Help create a positive team environment by addressing impediments, promoting collaboration, and encouraging team members to take ownership of their work.

• Coordinate release schedules and deployment plans, ensuring that all bug fixes and feature updates are deployed smoothly.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Trading and Investment Manager who can lead a team while being hands-on with trading across Social, Search, and Programmatic media. This role requires a combination of tactical expertise in campaign execution and strategic thinking, particularly in driving margin and profitability management. You will manage digital media investments and oversee a team of three traders, ensuring that every campaign not only meets performance KPIs but also delivers strong commercial outcomes. This position suits someone who is ready to progress toward a Head of Trading and Investment role in the future, with a clear focus on commercial optimisation and team leadership.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

• Oversee and actively manage digital trading across key platforms (Social, Search, Programmatic) to ensure optimal media investment, profitability, and campaign performance.
• Lead a team of three digital traders, focusing on professional development and the implementation of best practices.  
• Develop and execute digital trading strategies that align with both client objectives and internal profitability targets.
• Negotiate with media suppliers to secure the best pricing, added value, and ensure margins are optimised for agency profitability.
• Analyse and optimise campaigns based on performance data to maximize return on investment (ROI) and contribution to agency margin.
• Innovate within the trading function by adopting new tools, platforms, and processes to maintain a competitive edge while enhancing profitability.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and analytics to continuously improve trading outcomes.

We are seeking a capable and enthusiastic Financial Risk Manager to join our team in Australia. The Financial Risk Manager will report directly to the country CRO, providing support and second line risk management advice and oversight of the risk identification, assessment and mitigation effort to safeguard the stability and integrity of the organisation’s operation in the AU/NZ region.

Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract role based in Sydney.

Your Mission

• Be a critical partner to the AU/NZ CRO in supporting the delivery of the  AU/NZ risk management strategy.

• Conduct regular financial risk assessments and stress tests to identify and evaluate risks specific to the AU/NZ region.

• Work closely with product teams to value add on risk insights into product changes, new products and market launch, open issues and horizon risks relevant to the region.

• Monitor and analyse regional market trends, product risks, incidents, regulatory developments, and emerging risk factors to assess their impact on the organisation's risk profile and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

• Oversee the implementation of risk management tools and systems in the AU/NZ region, leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance risk monitoring, reporting, and decision-making processes.

• Work collaboratively with business units and functions to design and implement effective financial risk mitigation strategies, controls and action plans. Monitor the effectiveness of controls and recommend enhancements as necessary.

• Monitor the delivery of remediation actions and risk management projects including working collaboratively with business units and functions, and external consultants. 

• Provide timely and accurate financial risk reports and updates to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting key risk exposures, trends, and emerging risks in the AU/NZ region.

• Prepare ICAAP report  for Wise Australia, and oversee the development and implementation, including annual review, of the local Liquidity Management Policy, Business Plan, and Exit Plan.
