Your responsibilities would include:

• Lead the hotel through its transformation, ensuring a seamless guest experience that sets new industry benchmarks.
• Drive the launch of an innovative restaurant concept that will redefine dining at ibis Perth, making it a must-visit culinary destination.
• Ability to add value to the Accor network building strong brand and customer loyalty
• Take a consistent and responsible approach to cost control Continuous improvement in regards to product and service quality   
• Lead and manage impactful capital expenditure initiatives, aligning them with the hotel's long-term strategic goals.
• Collaborate with the regional team to make high-level commercial decisions that secure the hotel’s competitive edge. 

About the Role: 

• Assist in defining the strategy for the future direction of disputes management within Cuscal   

• Design propositions that will continue to add value and relevance to Cuscal and our clients. 

• Provide recommendations, options and solutions in line with product roadmaps for new and enhanced features to both new and existing products and services.  

• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the vision of the products and services are achieved. 

• Craft and maintain documents and other artefacts associated with Shared Services products and services that ensures they are clear and digestible as they will be a resource used by both internally across other domains and with our clients.  

• Manage as required, a selection of vendors who provide the applications and services that underpin Shared Services functions.   

• Ensure that there are clearly defined product requirements, SLAs aligned to market needs, pricing models and distribution channels.  

• Manage the integration of new product development or product change into existing processes. 

• Evaluate product competitiveness to enhance business impact and product profitability.  

• Ensure that all products, services, and activities are compliant with all forms of regulation, legislation and/or policies.  

• Understand the relationship between Shared Services, our clients and the other product domains and where Shared Services becomes involved.  

• Monitor projects to provide recommendations and solutions in line with product roadmaps. 

• Develop, prepare, and deliver presentations or communications on products and services to clients and other interested parties to assist in the education process and marketing of Cuscal’s products.   

• Stay up to date on industry trends and new developments in payments technology to help improve payment processing efficiency. 

About You: 

• Experience in the Australian payments landscape, specifically, the management of disputes processing.   

• At least 3 years’ demonstrated experience in product management including demonstrated experience in development and execution of product management tactics. 

• A desire to walk in the shoes of our clients as you identify areas to add value and drive these to conclusion.

• You will work with Marketing to develop user promotions and support client engagement initiatives

The ideal skills and experience for this role are:

• Considerable experience in a data service provider and/or within the
Aerospace and Defence and military sectors
• Proven track record in an independent working environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both virtually and in person
• Proven administrative skills including working remotely and coordination
with multiple teams for problem solving
• Former military employee (preferable)
• IT experience/competency working with online toolsets

You will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including self-insurance requirements, while fostering a culture of care and continuous improvement. • Design and roll out proactive well-being, injury prevention, and mental health initiatives.

Claims and Injury Management:

• Lead the management of workers' compensation claims and injury recovery processes.
• Ensure timely, fair, and effective case management to support return-to-work outcomes and minimise organisational risk.

Stakeholder Engagement and Training:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create a culture of awareness and promotion for well-being and mental health.
• Provide training and resources for leaders and employees on topics such as mental health awareness and injury management processes.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor, analyse, and report on key metrics and trends in workers' compensation, injury management, and employee well-being.
• Use insights to drive continuous improvement and influence senior leadership decision-making.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Manage workers’ compensation self-insurance licensing (Victorian experience preferred).
• Oversee national workers’ compensation policies and practices.
• Lead early intervention, injury management, and return-to-work practices.
• Liaise with medical providers for work and non-work-related employee matters.
• Develop and execute proactive well-being programs (desirable).
• Directly manage one position and provide indirect leadership to the internal well-being and injury management networks.
