The Manager, Contract Operations, is an integral member of UP&E, responsible for providing operational support to the UP&E APAC team across all categories (Toys & Hardlines, Fashion & Living and Food, Beauty & Care, Publishing). The primary focus will be driving operational excellence in the contract lifecycle, business development to drive growth, contract negotiations with key partners and to support both regional and country teams. We are looking for a true operational business partner to support all stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Controllership, Category, IT) to drive performance and execute business strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for Contract Operations for UDX contracts globally with a special focus on the APAC region (Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and India)
• Super-user of deal/revenue systems (Salesforce “CRM” and RightsLogic “RSG”).  Provide user training and services to category and other stakeholders
• Control point - ensuring compliance against deal guidelines, system data integrity (e.g. data inputted for drafting is complete; system data is consistent with signed contract) etc.
• End-to-end tracking of deals from deal memo to asset release / signed contract, including continual refinement of relevant reports – objective is to drive efficiencies and ensure the process is well controlled (including KPIs)
• Responsible for licensee profile creation and deal reconciliation in deal system to ensure accuracy for downstream processes
• Deal reporting – Refine existing and develop additional reports so the teams can manage their line of  business appropriately
• Ad Hoc projects / responsibilities within Operations as appropriate (e.g. Licensing Guidelines, Product Approval tracker)

What you’ll do

Your role as the Senior Manager, Public Policy will seek to positively influence public policy in support of the best financial interests of Rest members. Working closley with the General Manager, Public Policy & Advocacy, this role has a focus on our sustainable development goals and may work across policy areas as diverse as superannuation policy, regulation of investments and taxation settings, and thematics as broad as Climate Change and Net Zero transition, clean and affordable energy, agriculture, social and affordable housing, decent work, gender equity and social and economic inequality

• Develop and maintain public policy positions that enhance member investment returns, working collaboratively with senior leaders and subject-matter experts across Rest.
• Prepare high-quality submissions, policy documents, white papers, and briefings on issues important to Rest and its members.
• Support the development of policy advocacy strategies to further Rest members' best financial interests, including engagement with government and industry stakeholders.
• Provide advisory and consulting support across Rest Investments to assist in the creation, application, and development of policy positions.
• Work collaboratively with various teams, including Communications and Community, Responsible Investments & Sustainability, and investment asset class teams, on policy-related responses to stakeholder enquiries.
• Maintain a comprehensive view of policy positions held by key stakeholders and industry bodies.
• Support advocacy strategies for policies associated with Rest's prioritised Sustainable Development Goals, including Gender Equality, Affordable and Clean Energy, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Reduced Inequalities, and Climate Action.

About the Opportunity

As the National Program Manager, you will be responsible for building strong foundations with key stakeholders to foster a win-win outcome. While leading a field team you will drive Best in Class Planning and Execution of the client program, superior client service, on-going evolution of processes, capability and efficiencies in line with client and retail requirements.

You will manage key client relationships, operations and the field team within Independent Grocery. Responsible for delivering program objectives, staff management, data analysis, reporting program performance and making strategic recommendations and program enhancements to CA and the client.

As the strategic lead you will provide direction to the field team, making informed decisions that will develop and improve retail activations. This expertise will be drawn from an extensive knowledge of the FMCG and Independent Grocery market and client service management.

This role suits someone you can juggle conflicting priorities and meet client deadlines while leading the team with a tenacious and adaptable attitude to anticipate both our business and the client’s needs.

We are actively searching for an experienced Assistant Finance Controller professional to become an integral part of our brand-new property.

This position is responsible for assisting the Finance Controller in the daily operation of the Finance Department, directly overseeing and assisting with accounts payable, receivables and payroll operations.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with all Department Heads as to cost effective measures to enhance their department’s profitability.
• Ensuring credit approval and collection policies of the Hotel are adhered to at all times.
• Monitor and check all procedures relating to payroll for the Hotel.
• Ensure all in-house ledgers are constantly in balance.
• Monitor the Debtors balance.
• Effectively monitor and control the cash flow for the complex.
• Effectively develop and monitor all financial systems for the Hotel with a view to improving and streamlining procedures.
• Monitor and check all audits relating to financial standards and procedures.
• Ensure cash handling procedures and policies of the Hotel are strictly adhered to.
• Implement procedures to recover outstanding debts.
• Ensure credit approval and collection policies of the Hotel are adhered to at all times.
• Ensure all payments made to the Owners are effectively reconciled and deposited on time, in accordance with the relevant Management Agreements (where the Hotel is managed by Accor).
• Assist in the preparation of Hotel Annual budgets with the Department Heads and the General Manager.
• Accountable for the compilation of quarterly forecasting, ensuring that all Department Heads have complete and equal input.
• Assist, advice, and collate monthly departmental forecasts.
• Supply all departments with accurate statistical information on a timely basis.
• Cooperate with all other departments offering support information on finance matters as required.
