We are seeking a passionate Catering assistant / short order cook to work the afternoons at our global clients food manufacturing site in Bathurst.  This is a perm part time role from 11.00am to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday.  This is a HIGA, Hospitality Industry Award L3 role.

You will prepare basic meals, re stock the kitchen and make coffees at our clients very busy cafe.  To be successful you will need Cafe cooking experience and welcome your regular customers with a warm smile.  You will need to have transport or be able to get to our client site in Bathurst. 

To be considered you must be:

• Australian Citizenship, or full Australian working rights, no WHV's please

• Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including a police check

Your new role;

• Leading a team of Vet Nurses and supporting busy Vets
• Guiding and developing the Nurse team, building a positive team culture

• Monitor patients closely, administer medications, and assist with medical procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols

What you’ll bring to the role;

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
• Minimum 4+ years of experience working as a vet nurse with previous experience leading a team
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of emergency nursing practices and procedures
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work 
• Great attention to detail
• HR experience in performance monitoring and management
• Strong leadership and team building skills, and the ability to provide coaching for team members and to build a positive culture in your team
• Experience with Rx works (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good business acumen and organisational skills
